Toto, I tracked back till I found your news - very bad, and I'm sorry to hear it. If you've long had a sense of it, do you have any idea what you might want - I read the adrenalin thingy..... sailing instructor? No ..... hmmm.....

I originally came on the chat thread, tho I *know* I haven't posted often enough on here, but I was busting to tell someone. I was just weeding in the garden (i.e. grabbing handfuls of annual weeds, and shoving them in a binbag) and there was lots of rustling and squeaking nearby. Not a cat. So I stopped and saw lots of foliage waving where there was no wind. Waited some more. An adolescent fox, maybe three feet long, pops up already in my garden, about eight feet away at max! I said hello quietly, and he didn't run off right away (well, he waited about three seconds). It was great! I'm off out there for a bit more to see if anything else is out there.

    Hi karma
cute about the fox! but scary kinda!!

Er - he is a very pleasant guy.

I will stay as I am - I think the girls are imagining things.
Although I could do with a little looking after at the moment - feel totally unable to cope today.

He is coming to collect some old slabs at the weekend and wants some gardening advice. Maybe I should flirt a little. :rotfl:

sounds like the perfect arrangement and as Doris Day or some other old bird said... "que sera sera... whatever will be, will be"

sounds like he might need a womanly influence in his life, as you might need a blokey one from time to time, why not see what develops...

subtle fishing questions required, does he have a missus?? is he suitably rich... don't waste your time on someone with more money troubles than you...!

Very cute until you get a dead one and five more living under your shed!

We could always 'run' after them!

He is not married and does not have a girlfriend.
Seems very involved with his family though but is a bit younger than me.
He has totally rewired my bungalow over the part 3 years and sometimes pops in for a beer and a chat. Self employed - has a house but definitely not rich.

    I have a dilemma.

I've already missed my teacher training session today so I can sort out the work for the class on Saturday. Ihaven't done any AQA and I need to be doing £30 every day until the end of the month, otherwise I won't have enough to pay the bills (food and petrol aren't going to happen next month ) I have my cake decorating class tonight, 7-9. It's the last one and to be honest, it hasn't really been what Iwas hoping for. I didn't go last week because there was a tutor meeting and some mandatory training. If I don't go, Iwill have only been to 2 of the 4 sessions and I feel a bit guilty. At the same time, going to the class won't earn me any money, which is really higher up the priority list than covering another cake with butter icing.

So, go to class? Or stay here and work ?

I knew they were about as they come out to play in the evening - just didn't find where they were until yesterday.

Toto - forgive me for being so self-absorbed. Not sure what you do exactly although obviously musicy. Sad about your news. From reading your posts about Ryan the other day, you sound very attuned to such things and your understanding way of explaining things bought a lump to my throat so it is definitely a route to consider. But in the meantime maybe you need to take time to assimilate the news and maybe mourn a little.
