It is pants bunny, and I've had a few tears today. But as I've said I think I've done a lot of the sadness already. I've known for 18 months that it was coming. I had a bit of hope with the op but I always understood that the time was up really. So I've just got to get on with it. I think having the baby has been a massive help, no one can be sad for long with that great big smile around.
Besides, I'm 40 this year, how long was I going to go on for anyway? I'll just have to find a new thing to do.
Anyway, have you taken something for the headache?
Life (or a different life) begins at 40
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Toto - I think anything that has a finality to it will bring tears and you should shed them and mourn. I think it's a mixture of fear of the future plus the loss of something you loved/enjoyed.
You should look back at all the success you've had and celebrate that - you're a very talented musician (and a damn sexy drummer to boot!)

I have got a few empty trays from my veg patch I can offer up. Thanks Sal!
I've bet you cried, I know I would have. I've taken paracetemol and it didn't touch it-I have some other stuff in my cupboard but not sure if it would help!?

yeah, me too in 1 year and a few hours  Scares the bejesus out of me to be truthful. I loved being 30, it was an excellent time for me, but 40 is very scary.

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
