I have done some flying btw, I've wiped some things, cleared some things, decluttered some rubbish and returned the rug doctor.

Thanks everyone for your kind and supportive words re DD1. SHe's amazingly calm about it.... now, she was hysterical at having to go to the police! :D

Anyhooooo, all done and dusted now. We're in Plymouth, fast drive down here, we did it in 3 hours. So we'll go and see lovely family in the morning, and have a big old cooked breakfast, and then hopefully it'll be beach weather.

Did you know you can bring pets to the travelodge???? My lovely Handsome Harry is being watchdog!

    Morning folks

Cannot sleep, so first load in WM.

Cats have has one very small breakfast, or they will start to think this time of day is acceptable to get up.

It looks like the sun is about to come out.

I'm going to do a major clean today, so I might be gone some time, plus I want to clean the car inside and outside, weed the garden, earth up the spuds, etc.

    I will return later

    Hugs

    Have a good day.

    Morning all,
Happy Birthday for yesterday carol22, hope it was a good one!

It looks like I'm not going to get all my stars this week, for the first time since I started! Oh well, I'm off work next week so I can catch up a bit. Lots of gardening to do as well. The house is looking so much better all round since i've been flying, so thanks everyone for your support!
Been up since 5 this morning & only had a couple of hours kip - DH snoring again. I am ready to de-clutter him under the patio at the moment.

I'll try & keep up over the weekend, hope everyone has a great Bank Holiday!

What I don't understand is that people have requested the Christmas Card list before on here and it's been sent to them. In fact that's probably how Jo knew about it as she wasn't here at Christmas. Neither was I but I've seen posts about it since then.
And, people are always saying: "send me your details by PM" which apparently breaks the rules too.
So why has nobody mentioned this on any of those occasions?
I really don't want to discuss this here any more. I've sent a PM to MSE Andrea for clarification, but as yet havn't had any response.

It's probably my fault for bringing it up (and haven't seen any other requests for "details by PM" tbh, it's impossible for me to read the whole thread, so tend to skim :o ).

As a Board Guide, I'm caught in an impossible position here. I can't simply ignore the fact that people are asking for details (and a couple of days ago the Chirstmas Card List was being mentioned loads) as I know that it's against the rules. But if I do raise it, it can be interpreted as a comment to individuals personally (which is why I was careful in my first post on this subject not to quote anyone).

The fact that a list of people's personal details, which was supposed to be destroyed after it had served its purpose in December, is still around, and could be sent to individuals who aren't on the list, is why MSE has a rule not to exchange details.

I've now handed this issue over to the team, and won't be making any more comments at present. Please can everyone take a look at this thread and if there are any further issues, please address them on that thread, by PM to me or MSE Andrea, or on the Forum Policy and Rules Board.

Thanks you to everyone for your support :A

mOZzy - just got your name!

Sorting is just as important as flying, once you've sorted you can fly more succesfully - I'm just dot to dotting myselft - a bit like a mozzy in flight biting people
    :rotfl:

pfff but sorting is so much harder because where do you put it all?????

any luck with the dotting? ;)

mozzy I think it is probably more important for you to sort rather than fly - you dont want to be taking unnecessary stuff to OZ - this is a good time to be flinging and it will make the tidying and flying so much easier.

    toots xx

luckily we don't have much to throw / sell / give away - we've done that gradually over the last year - but we had to hold on to a few things to have a comfortable life but things we won't be taking iykwim
and the rest needs sorting and checking if ok and lots of cleaning (all dh's tools need proper cleaning or they won't let them in!!)

and we've sat down ystd and we might have the shippers in by end of june :eek:

all good in our house :D

but i really need to do some flying today - washing is piling up and dry one needs to be folded.
i finished dd's chest of drawers ystd - just her wardrobe to sort through then ALL the clothes are sorted!
i've orders 2 inflatable chairs for the kids so we can get rid of their sofa - i hope they don't pop them

    HHC 8.30 anyone??

Thanks Penny for your post above, you are a star

I'm going to see Mum and Dad today and go for a walk with them which will be nice. Got to get my car back from my friend's house too - left it there on Thursday but need it back now. Also will feed her cat while I'm there and have a look at the kittens! Which are very cute!

Hope everyone has a good day xx
