  • Morning flygang - what a beautiful day - I love the sunshine!! :D

Well I've a sleepover visit sprung on me for tomorrow, so will be turning into a B & B again today. For once it will not take too long - this flying stuff is working..:T:T

So thanks to Pigpen for the lists, and everyone else for the support and encouragement - I'm going to enjoy this weekend visit much much more now its not really a chore to get ready.:T:T

OK - quick HHC anyone? I've the washing dance and a date with my kitchen floor just now.

Later I have a very hot date - I need to crawl in the loft....:rotfl: Not much fun in this weather but I need DH & DS's help to get some things out of there (and whispers...probably off to the tip with them later). I will declutter my loft - I've stuff still in packing boxes from our last move 10 years ago - can't think I'll need anything from it now.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Morning all,

Just flitting in very quickly before I head off to the gym again for body combat.

Firstly, a happy belated birthday to carol - sorry I missed it.
Secondly, congratulations to rach and grateful on their new jobs.
Thirdly, a big get well soon to everyone feeling down or poorly.

I didn't get an interview in the end for the Leigh Park job, but I spoke to one of the teachers in a nearby school where I supply yesterday, and she thinks that it could well have been just a paper exercise, as they have to legally advertise, but may have had an internal person that they gave it to. Never mind, I went to visit a lovely school yesterday that is only 10 mins drive away, and it was so much nicer! The head was really enthusiastic and friendly, and has made me come to a decision regarding the small village school that I had concerns about, and I don't think I'm going to apply there after all. I'm visiting another school after half term so will see how that goes too (also nearby).

On Wednesday night, a new lady came to body combat who already knew the ladies I talk to. She asked me to go to aqua with them all on Thursday as the class numbers were so small. I went, and have now been invited to go for drinks with them next Thursday after the class to celebrate a belated birthday, so I'm really pleased - greenbee you were right about making friends by going to classes.

Flying wise, my washing mountain is now a mole-hill, so also pleased about that. Having half days and nice weather this week has meant I've kept on top of it all. Will change my sheets and do the bedroom this afternoon after I've come back from the gym. I expect the forum will be down by the time I get home, so have a nice day everyone, and I'll be back on tonight to update you quillion.

Many thanks to quillion for doing the stars this week.

    sexymouse xx

ss - sorry to read about your DD hope she is okay today - well done to her for being able to give a good account of what happened.

abbie - (((hugs))) re your dad I hope he recovers soon

pigpen - well doen with getting the exams out of the way, hope you geet some rest today when the kids are out.

Julie - have a good week.

Its grey and horrible here and I still have loads of washing to catch up on but not sure how much will get dried today. we are heading out for most of today - visiting FIL and then going to try and get a couple of rolls of turf from homebase (using nectar points) for underneath the girls climbing frame (will hopefully mean less mud getting into the house). Then need to off load DD1 who is at a sleepover with her friends and somewhere Ineed to fit in a food shop.

Quillion - I did finish the kitchen last night so can I have a star for that.

May not make it back on here but may see some on facebook, while MSE shuts down.

    Anyone seen lil-me this week?

Glamazon - thanks for your post. I will definitly pop over to the pregnancy thread. I can imagine it is really helpful talking to other ladies, who are going through the same thing. There are always questions to ask and things to find out about.. Hope to see you over there soon xx

The thread moves pretty fast but I guess if you can keep up on here than it won't be a problem! It's my first and I have learnt so much more than I would have from anywhere else. There are 12 of us due around the same time so compare bump pictures and aches and pains.
The birth stories are the best even the scary ones cos they prepare you for what might happen. One girl has just had a condition only seen twice in the last decade

Right, I'm off to do my shopping list, go to ASDA, start batch cooking and whilst that's on start the GREAT DECLUTTER.

Start by sorting and then come next week I'll be ready to fly!!

    Thanks for all your welcomes!

Triker - I loved that smile but am sooooooooooooooo glad I don't eat fish after reading that thread!

    Morning all

It's our wedding anniversary today, (first time it has fallen on a Saturday since we got married) and fortunately I have a busy day lined up. Already yesterday things were running through my head about what I was doing the last day before we got married and I suspect today could be the same if I don't keep busy

Not caught up with the thread and won't get chance before the forum goes down this afternoon so hugs and squeezes all round. xx
