mojt my OH's a kitchen fitter and from what I can gather the general going rate is approx £150 per day, kitchen fitters usually do the plumbing too, well mine does lol.....nightmare to find a good one though, Good Luck x

Welcome Lou :hello: and all the other newbies x

I've even cleaned out the porch :j gosh I'm good today lol Littley had her play at school today and she was fab by all accounts (OH went as did FIL, SIL and nephew - I'm going tomorrow along with OH again and DD1) now she wants to join a stage school, mind you she's been asking for months so we've searched the net and found a local one, will think about it.

Taking her to dancing in a bit, need t drop off a parcel too then I'm gonna give the utility another coat, think we'll have chip shop for tea cause I CBA to cook (and muck up my nice clean kitchen) :o

    Hi everyone!
Phew - I can't keep up with this thread, two days away & there are 19 pages! I didn't manage to read all of last weeks either, but
Triker - thanks for posting the link to shanks-mare, I've learnt something today! Hope your sooty problem is behind you now!

My best wishes to those who are ill.:grouphug:

Took my DS for his dyslexia assessment yesterday - it looks like he will be getting some equipment & support from the LEA at last :jIt has taken forever to sort this out, not least because DS has been dragging his heels over it.
The appointment was at the Uni I graduated from 2 years ago - it felt very weird to be back!

I've done the cloakroom too, so that's all the ground floor...This afternoon I spent two hours on the allotment, clearing weeds, sowing salads and picking a bag of lettuce leaves - the first of the year! A small bunch of spring onions too. Salad for dinner.:D

    Welcome home toots!!
I missed you, love and hugs.

    Evening everyone.

Yay Toots is back. Lovely to see you posting again. You have been very much missed. BIG HUGS.

Did my half day training then went with DD for her scan. Its good news, she doesnt have a blood clot. I was sitting grinning like a cheshire cat in the waiting room.

Glad I did most of the kitchen on Sunday and have just finished what was left.
