I am an enjoying a rare day off, and so far I have done -

coffee with pal from work - he's a bloke but loves a good gossip

Used up vouchers at Boots which ran out today - more bits and pieces for Christmas cupboard

grocery shopping at Lidl/meat from wholesaler/bits and pieces from Asda

    Recycle carrier bags at Asda

cleaned out fridge and tin cupboard before putting shopping away

    dinner/washed up

made some work phone calls - never off duty but means I'm head on work for tomm and have some cracking stories lined up.

    Made packed lunch for tomm

Now planning what to cook for tea - OH normally does it and I'm not great at cooking, but at least I have a kitchen full of ingredients to work with.

Might go for a run tonight or maybe some pole practise.

This must be what it'd be like to jack in the career and be a SAH...erm...cat mam

Washing looks dry so I'll get that in soon. Off to make pancakes as I promised those for pudding (only as I have a bit of a milk glut)

boddy that is great news!!! Really pleased for you and your DD
Quillion was his B+E driving test, new caravan took us over max towing limit on his licence. Cost me £400 to put him through it, so he can tow a very slightly heavier caravan than he has been for a year, after towing trailers for 8 years.....stupid money grabbing government rules! Would have been another £195 if he'd failed it, it's tested at a HGV place which has a 40% pass rate as it's very strict so I am pleased with him. Oh and you are braver than me with staples, once never again! I've since had a beaded stitch where they just pull through and the best ones, dissolving! Having liver issues aswell as 2 csections I have had quite a bit of surgery lol
:D I remember my Mum having one Penny, part of her Chef which I in 'stupid not knowing what it was pre MSE' mode turned down when she offered me it! I remember having fun with the sausage maker when we were little.
juliejim they are a good idea but he might prefer the pendant which can be tucked under a tshirt/top. You can get the backs engraved on the dog tag style ones.
nicki pleased you managed a full day, well done for sorting (or at least starting to sort) their dumping ground.
embb the stage schools based in theatres are usually fab, a little lad I know does the one at the Gala in Durham and he's been in several performances there so far. Done loads for his self confidence.
Jo I have a popcorn maker, think it was about £10. Have you got a splatter guard or a seive that would cover one of your pans? I usually use those if doing it in the pan, which I use when we're away etc.
Dusty well done for getting on the wii fit, I might take mine with us at the weekend, always fun after a few when we're all staying for the weekend :D

MONDAY COMPLETE!!!! Can I have my star please Quillion........oh yes it's Tuesday....I'll try to get the kitchen done this evening :D:o

Bigger suprise is DP told a child off for dumping rubbish then put his plate in the kitchen, in the dishwasher!!! WOW!!! Wonder how long that will last. I just want it to stay tidy until we go away.....not too much to ask? 3 days......pah!

Been sorting more DS2s camp stuff, his hiking boots fit still :D bought them big, so have washed them now drying. Found a trial size toothpaste (if I give him a full one he'll eat it) got trial size insect repellant (won't eat it I hope but would use a full bottle in a day if given the chance) new toothbrush etc for wash bag so will pack that tonight.....sure I have some shower and bath gel which can be used from hands to hair somewhere. I have found a mini nail brush which I think I will pop in too.

Forecast is better for tomorrow, phew, as I need to get the bed linen washed this week and the normal stuff which I am behind on now. I've got a meeting 12 noon onwards and about 7 parcels should be arriving, fingers crossed they arrive before I go as one is a Boots order, the other is a nintendo DS for me :D , it's pink so hopefully the children (and DP) will keep their mits off it, fed up of buying sudoku books for when we're away and a new one for DS2 as he's lost his and driving me nuts wanting his brothers when he is playing on it.
One day I might be more organised...........

ooh I am so fed up - I had clothes on the maiden in my bedroom (cos it's sunny at the front) and as it was almost dry but not quite I pegged it out for a blow to finish it off and despite the !"£$%^ blue sky it has !"£$%^ rained and I am well!""££$££ *&%^$£&^* off now.
and DS is being a bottom (so no change there) won't eat his tea why do I ^&^%£$* bother...ANDhe took a pair of DAMP jeans off the maiden and has worn them...lost a top I bought him...
and then he will come in and eat junk (if he can find any cos I am about to hide the biccies)
***wanders off groaning moaning and muttering***

still I know some of you are going through worse***smack self on hand***and I shouldn't moan but he would try the patience of a saint and whatever I am a saint I ain't...

He's chosen his own - it's like a velcro strap with footballs on - I did look at the ones which you have engraved but it's awkward what to have put on.

Toots - I'm so pleased your home and back with us - missed you loads!:j

Going to have a bath now

    Have fun all
