**Can anyone answer this** Do people with largish amounts of metal in their bodies have to declare it somewhere on their passport?

sorry I can't resist this - maybe you should change to soul music...IYSWIM

Miss A bit late but would love to be added to your card -

and I have sort of fluttered in that I have made two cottage pies, one for tomorrows tea and one for the freezer
it's going to be a long week AND I now have the dentist on friday.
I am going to have to give up sleeping to get any stars this week - AND my back up service (mum and dad) are down near Grateful I think...they have gone to either Croyde or Combe Martin.

(She told me one then said it was wrong and it was the other and I can't remember which is which - it's a campsite/caravan park which is a man's name... John or James something:confused:
    memory like a seive, me!)

Triker aaarrghhhhh - I would have sobbed. Copiously.

    Hi all

Miss A can I be on the card for Toots please? Thankyou!

Toochoosey - I haven't found anyone to sponsor yet, PM me details and I'll paypal/ transfer you some money.

L-L - lots and lots of hugs, I hope everything works out for you.

Triker - my dad once came up with the 'clever' idea of vacuuming up all of the soot from our grate when it broke. He was happily hoovering it all up, not noticing that the hoover was not very happy with it and was spewing the soot all over the sofa, carpet, mum's morrocan rug, and my brother who was sitting on the sofa. You have my sympathy!

  • Greenbee/Rach/Flower just read your discussion about food on the old thread. Was really interested in what you said. I’ve found that since I’ve been eating every 2 hours, I’ve majorly cut back on chocolate/sweets with no effort at all! I’ve had complements on my skin (spotty chin now got much less spots) and I’ve been told I’ve lost weight! I’ve been eating more protein, and having things with oats in like granary bread, neutragrain bars and cereal bars, and I’ve more energy and much less depressed because I’m not having that drop in blood sugar that is so horrible and tiring. Didn’t manage the 2 hour thing today, as I had 2 breaks in 7 ½ hours, and I did eat chocolate when I got home but it’s ok

This sounds interesting. I usually have to eat every few hours or I get tired and big hunger pains.
Always have a banana or nuts and seeds in my bag.
I don't eat sweets and choc or want to lose weight but could do with more energy as working looooong hours.
Never thought of stepping it up to every two hours tho.

g&b people I know with 'metal work' just have a hospital letter explaining where they are 'false' or 'pinned'
toochoosey that is one SPOOKY looking house!
juliejim what a bother that sounds, hope you have a lovely unhindered time once all the 'paperwork' is sorted

Right, I've done next to nothing of the list but we did the costco shop, got me a box....of bottles...of wind :D ABs which haven't worked will be finished by Thursday :D so I'll have a headache this weekend. More stuff for DS2s camp got, packed more too. Ordered DS2 2 inhalers, thinking give him one and scout leader one so if he looses one there is a spare? Managed to find a 'not pink' wash bag for his things, need trial size toothpaste - unsupervised he would eat the tube, I did eat a lot of it when I was pregnant :o, batteries, ermmmmm argh my heads spinning planning for that and our weekend, then next week away too :rotfl:

List, that is what I need, a list - will do it now!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
