This is our SOA for if my OH doesn't work any overtime. for my wage I have calculated it for what I will be earning when I finish my maternity leave. It is the estimate that human resources have given me for the hours I think I will be working.
All the overtime OH does we will be paying onto the debts to get rid as quick as possible. Once the debt is gone we will use the money to get savings for 6 months worth of living expenses ans savings for a lump sum mortgage payment at the end of the 3 year fixed rate.
OH will only do this amount of overtime while we have the debts though. He is happy working it as it has got us our house but we will both be happy when he is at home more.
If we dont include the overtime then our debt free date will be October 2011 so the aim is to see what we can reduce that by.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -

Thanks barrys-lass, we just cant wait to move in now.
we have got someone starting decorating for us next week. We are just going round the house painting everything a neutral colour to cover the yellow celings and all the marks on the walls.
We have managed 4 NSD's in a row now so pretty pleased with that. I really need to get another dooyoo review done but I cant type them one handed so will have to see when DS will take a nap!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
I think neutral is best as you can put loads of accent colours with your furnishings. I wish we could afford to decorate. OH is away to shop with dog to spend our last £5 until a week on monday!!!!!
Iv never been on DooYoo, i think i might have a look as loads of people on here use it.
Hope DS sleeps wellBarclays OD -£805.93/limit £800 A & L OD -£350.00/limit £250HFC (laptop) £549.00, Barclays Loan £3033.00, O2 £331 (227.70 left)(defaulted):eek::eek::eek:0 -
Hi Lunar
Said I would pop by the house and your little boy both look gorgeous I can understand why you are so excited.
Really glad you are joining the MFiT - T2 from your figures you should be able to make a real difference and as you say you have done it all before. I am going to check out your previous diaries now to see how you do it. I will be keeping an eye on you

I have read your previous threads now what a lovely story so glad that things have worked out for you and your OH sounds lovely.
My children are IVF hence the two lots of twins so I know about the trauma infertility treatment causes and some of my debt was private fertility treatment as well.
You certainly seem to have things well under control well done.

Barrys-Lass, get your self over to Dooyoo. It is a really good way to get a little extra money and it is so addictive. Just have a read of a few other reviews first so you know what you are doing before you start. If you rate people they will rate you back normally and the pennies soon add up.
Double trouble, I didn't realise that you had IVF too. we will hopefuly be going down that road again in 12-18 months time, so something else to save up for!
As for how we got the debts down the first time and the house deposit, its having an OH that is in a good job and working over 100hrs a week most weeks at the moment. This will be reduced at the start of August though and we will try getting some normality back.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -

Well done on your dooyoo crown :T
I hope your next IVF is a success too you may join me with twins. When I had twins number 1 I was ecstatic we had tried a lot of different fertility treatments for 6 years and they were conceived at our second attempt at IVF I kept the second attempt secret because the first failed attempt was so heartbreaking and I couldn't stand the thought of having everybodys sympathy a second time that resulted in me having to tell a lot of porkies and even hiding when I saw my sister on a railway station unexpectedly. I had a boy and a girl a perfect family but when they were about 7 I realised I wanted more children and we then started loads of IVF treatments over 7 years (of course I was older) the treatment when I conceived twins number 2 was our last ditch attempt we were not trying again for lots of reasons so when I realised I was pregnant just before Christmas 2004 I was overjoyed another boy and girl and all four in perfect health what more could you ask for. I still love babies though so that is why I foster I can have as many as I want without having to have treatment :Dthe only down side is when you have togive them back.
Sorry for the ramble but IVF was my saviour we were going to adopt too when it looked like twins number 2 were not going to happen and that is how we got into fostering a very long story but I am glad we did.

Thank you for such a lovely post DT, I kept my last attempt at IVF secret form friends and family in real life. The only people I told were people on this site. I posted my IVF story on dooyoo and it made me feel slightly better about the experience. I never really went into details with people in real life about it.
We also looked into adopting, we may still go down that path at some point. I am not sure if I could foster though, I think I would become too attached to the children. I have so much admiration for people like you who do foster.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0
