I remember how exciting it is waiting to move into a house, and planning all the things you're going to do. It is a fab house, I'm sure you'll absolutely love living there. Have you completed and actually moved in yet?0

We have completed on the house but not actually moved in yet, we have been over a couple of times though.
We ordered our sofas, fridge and freezer. Managed to get good second hand washer and dryer from a friend who was upgrading their one so it only cost us £50 for both.
I have also got someone coming to shampoo the carpets next week to see if they can be saved. Now all I need is a cheap but good decorator to paint a couple of rooms, the wallpaper is fine to paint over but I cant leave it as it is, there are some huge stains on it which are driving me mad.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
Panda, where did you find time to be excited about your house?! You were in labour when you picked up the keys if I remember right!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0

Ha ha! Yes, very! But we knew we were going to buy it for about 6 months beforehand, we just had to sell our own first. Still driving me mad though as I'm so impatient and just want everything done yesterday but funding doesn't permit. If it wasn't for the house move, we'd probably be about 20-30k better off on the debt score than we are. But then so would you!0
