I did tell you that already... "no claims bonus" is awarded to those who make "no claims", funnily enough.. hence the importance of the word "no".

I'm sorry you didn't like me playing Devil's Advocate.. it was meant to be helpful. I'm not sure you even realised.. i was offering some ideas that you should consider, if only to bolster your claim. However, since you took it personally, i shall bow out (or should that be "curtsy" out?), so as to not to delay you any further in your fraudulent claim...

The industry reckons that fraudulent P.I. claims, whether successful or not, add £60 to everyone else's motor insurance premiums.. Just a thought............
    What is your problem??

If you are going to play 'Devil's Advocate' - then just say so (at time of post obviously, not later when someone has risen to your carefully laid bait). You are just playing games and provoking anger when OP is already upset and stressed.

Find another website to play on. Your humour and so called advice is unwelcome.

How on earth can that be helpful?

Oh I didn't need any bait, saw the thread title and just thought I'd put my point of view across. I remember feeling stressed over the incident at the time.....

What a kn0b you are, my DD wasn't chaning direction
I believe you, naturally, but will the Third Party's Insurer and/or a judge in the County Court?

Your DD does have photographs of the road positions of the vehicles, and an independent witness to corroborate her version of events?
, she was driving straight down a main road
Straight, no doubt, but at what speed was your DD travelling, and what is the posted speed?
when some idiot crossed in front of her without waiting or looking to see if it was clear.
Or was "some idiot" actually stationary when your DD slammed into her at speed?

And you've still not countered the 3rd party's allegation that DD was displaying a misleading signal.. On the 3rd party's statement it will say that DD's left indicator was illuminated and that DD slowed down to turn into a side road.. But at the last minute, DD changed directions, and carried on straight ahead, instead.
The car suffered a massive jolt & is out of line, so its not surprising she is in pain tonight.
I'm surprised you only went for a whiplash claim. Can't you conjure up some soft tissue injuries as well? And no mention of psychiatric injuries.. Why not? They can last a lifetime..

She was driving down the road & someone coming the opposite direction crossed her path to turn right into a side road without looking or giving way, how can she be at fault?

    Because, erm...

    i) DD was displaying a misleading signal; or
ii) DD was travelling at an excess speed ( you haven't actually denied that was the case..); or
iii) DD was driving under the influence of drink or drugs (was a sample of her blood taken at hospital?); or
iv) DD actually collided with a stationary vehicle..

There are four counter-arguments that could defeat DD's claim....

You hit a car that was stationery. So not quite sure why you are laughing!!! The car that hit MrsE's daughters car was moving across her path - slight bit of difference there I think!

Jokes on you this time I'm afraid... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well Jeannie, like I said in my OP the car came to a halt after I had hit it. What is so funny is the irony of MrsE's post.
