I may just do that! lol
We are hoping to move this year so I think I will stay as I am for now and then when we have moved get my animal of choice so we can work towards some extra payments. For now my focus is on moving, moving, moving.Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000 -

I had exactly the same thing in the corner of our dining room!
Everyone used to just ignore it on the passing, lol. You'd be lucky if we ever got more than a third of the way up it.
Since Herman and his speech bubble came to stay, it's impossible to ignore him. I'm happy to admit we're all nuts, but he's almost like a cult figure in our house now, he even gets a wee pat on the passing as well as the odd coin or two.
I know I keep saying it but it really is all psychological. Make your pig and his statement important to you. Even if all you feed him is 1p's or 2p's it's all relevant.
Happy pigging everyone.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I have just bought off ebay a delightful porcelain piggy bank pig, that was given to travel agents in the 80's as a promotional gift from BA. He has the loveliest little face and I am sure I will be unable to resist his imploring looks to be fed. I am technically mortgage free (because i rent!) but i am far from debt free, so little piggy will be fed to feed my debts in turn. Any ideas for a name?Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

See, couldn't help myself I'm back already! Can we get some piggy smilies?
Between here and my new found pigsback obsession I'm seeing pigs everywhere!:dance:0 -
This thread is fab, thank you so much for the idea. my bf and i are 6 months awy from finishing our PhD when we hope to get engaged, get a house, get married and start a family all within the next 2 years. We are currently renting and "only" got a student loan to repay so arent too bad but a piggy in the kitchen might just help us save up for the mamouth next 2 years and realise our dreams!
Thank you aliasojo.0 -

Lol...good idea halloweenqueen...been away looking for a pig smilie for us to adopt but so far I've only found one and it's not that nice tbh. We need a suitably handsome pig smilie otherwise Herman may feel affronted. :rotfl:
I wonder if we could shrink Herman's pic to smilie size.
We could copy it into our posts every time we feed our pigs, lol.
I've just stuck £1.50 into mine instead of sending my lad to the shop for a bottle of coke and I've got a drink of diluting juice out the kitchen instead. Every little helps.Herman - MP for all!0
