Just paid another £58 into my mortgage, added it up for this month (ive been paying it in as i got it, rather than taking it out of the bank, putting it in Pork Chop and then emptying it at the end of the month!!!) and ive paid in £269.62!!!! I know next month wont be so good, but im really pleased with how im doing at the moment.0

I joined Pigsback last Friday and already have over 500 points, so getting the piggy is easy, although I may save mine for some vouchers as my wishing well money box is doing a grand job.0

My pigsback points haven't got very far either I must admit, in the end I got a pig in a local shop on sale for £1.99.
Unfortunately, my neighbour decided to re-arrange my car's front earlier today (has owned up and we've exchanged insurances etc) but it is so annoying as the darn thing had just come back from another repair last week.
Think my pig is shortly going to be for saving for a new car - saying that most of the panel's on mine will have been replaced if I don't watch it! So looks like a new car that way.
So annoying but at least it may make neighbours around him more weary or he may even decide to either slow down or reverse into his driveway rather than slap it into reverse and do around 30 mph in his car.0 -
just bid on a moo-cow money box on ebay (had to, being a dairy farmers daughter) still a few days of the auction left though so if anyone else sees it please dont bid - remember i "bagsied" it first! got a 30 year(!!!) mortgage to pay off, taken out nov 05, not started overpaying yet but thought my "cash cow" would be a good reminder to try to save. not even sure how much i owe (around the £125k mark  ) and dont think i want to know cos its probably more than my initial loan when all the interest is added onWiggly:heartpulsFB0

i`m going to join too, started the year off really well and paid some chunks off the mortgage but not done so well the last few months.
BUt what money do I need to put in, apart from spare change- which I have already been saving for holiday spend.
Eg if hubbie comes home tonight and says shall we have a takeaway- and I say no and make something= do I put a tenner in the pig?
ThanksApril Grocery challange £175
