Get yourself a 'Mortgage Pig'

Well I have been inspired. I have just ordered a Mortgage Sheep (being welsh and all that) from ebay - just need to come up with a name. Thanks so much, we bought a new house in January so are desperate to reduce our 25 year term as low as possible and our sheep (which DH doesn't know about as yet) will definately help.0

I think we have a variety of animals on here that are being used as a mortgage pig, so welcome to your sheep! (and you!!!).0

Well spoke to hubby last night who has named our mortgage Sheep "Flossie" - obviously a logical name for a sheep. :rotfl:
I'm working from home for 3 days a week for the next 6 months so that is £2 a day going in to account for the lunch I'm not buying. :j
Flossie will be fat before we know it.0 -
The coins are going into priscillas belly and I'm sure her smile gets bigger the fuller she gets!!:D

The little piggie I bid on ebay was £1.60 and it's now up to £4.20!!! For a little purple plastic piggie bank!!! Not very MSE to bid again...so I shall stick to my cleaned-out Pringles Tube and be done with it!!!
I shall officially now name it as Percy The Pringle!!! :rotfl:2024 Challenges- Grocery Budget (January £0/£300)

Hi nellis10
Have you checked out http://www.pigsback.com/default.asp. If you go to the Freebies board there is a whole thread about it. You can register with them and build up piggypoints very easily and get a free pink piggy for 400. He's lovely:D

I got my piggy points very quickly for my piggy! However, percy pringle has a nice ring to it!!
I've squeaked another £40 in for the end of the month, its going to be quite depressing starting on 0 again!0
