I have a strange compulsion to round up my numbers and am amazed how many people I have met on MSE who suffer from the same problem - financial OCD :T

I have 2 sealed pots - Phil the Pig is just for coppers because I hate untidy amounts in my purse, and my sealed wooden 'brick', which represents the first brick paid for my house without a mortgage. It's fun but everyone thinks I'm crazy :D

Maybe, not really sure it will depend on the individual next but have a look they were gorgeous, nearly brought some in case anyone on MSE wanted them but was worried I would be stcuk with them

Yes, I suffered from a compulsion to round my debt up to the next £10,000 :o .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Ecoelle hi. Is the weight of your pot before you have taken into account the weight of the actual pot itself? or did you weigh the pot on its own when it was empty to get a tare weight (the weight of just the pot) ? I have mine in a tin (that you open with a tin opener) and it doesn't weigh anything near that. It weighs 600g (including tin). I do tend to put mainly 1 & 2 £ coins in it though, (and OH is under strict instructions to hand over his £2 coins), so I have absolutely no idea how much money is in there.
