I am now the proud owner of a large plastic screw top container with a bunch of ribbons round its neck :rotfl:
DH got me a tub of flying saucer sweets for xmas and the second thing I did ( I had to try them first of course :rotfl: ) was to size up the container and see if it was strong enough to be used for change
I now have Percy pig for 50p & £1 coins, a large whisky bottle for all coppers which takes ages to fill, a golly moneybox for £2 coins and I have decided to use the plastic container for 5p,10p & 20p coins.
:rotfl: That should cover all bases I think :rotfl:MFiT Member No 85

Hi guys,
I saw piggy banks in the Yorkshire Trading Company the other day - I think they were £1.99 and quite unmissable, being the brightest of garish colours with flowers on!
I thought of you all...Miggy

Remembered seeing this thread on the main board one day but never got round to reading it. What a fab idea - great use of psychology in personalising the pig too - will now have to find one and give it a prominent position in the house. Will have to start thinking of a name :rotfl:0

Had a good count up of the jar, and cashed in my £2.00 coins. Managed about £75.00, thats Dec & Jan (Try to empty every month). Got 2 more bags that need to be paid in, but Nationwide will only allow 5 bags!! Great Hey!!
Oh well, Feeling very inspired this year to take a large chunk out of the Mortgage.
How is everyone getting on with their piggies???0 -
