I just wrote back and said it'll be really funny when me and DH are scraping together our child benefit money to buy LIDL baked beans in the week and then going "boating" with the family at the weekend!
It's very exciting though, we can pretend to be rich when we're on the boat! And i'm sure it's going to be very exciting for our little boy!0 -

I've just got a txt from "your doctor" it says they've got my test results back and to "contact them at my earliest convenience not urgent" do u think they always say not urgent so you don't panic?
I always tell my girls to say 'Please contact the surgery, it is nothing to worry about' - whenever they leave a message. Otherwise patients DO Panic and then have a go when it's something minor cos they were worried.
Let me guess - they don't open til 2pm so you've got to wait til then to ring them!
Greent - don't get too excited! I'm on pair 1 out of 6 tights - they are One Size and barely fit around my thighs!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I agree with you there!
I went into the kitchen a couple of hours ago to make a drink and ended up cleaning the kitchen appliances, maybe I'm nesting!
I have now made a start on the hob and I am considering taking the coffee machine apart to clean it properly (It hasn't even been used since October last year!) I think it's because I know when baby comes along other people eg. My Mum and MIL, will be using my kitchen and I will be mortified if they find anything dirty!
I was also inspired by everyone talking about baking last night, so I have some Sundried tomato and Parmesan bread on the go (It is one of the those packet mixes, so I am cheating really!)Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Glamazon, none of those ebay ones will finish for less than £40 in my experience!
One very similar to the pink one you like is on the isabella oliver sale site in your size for £60, and they have just emailed me with a 25% off code which I'm not going to use, and am happy to send to you. That would mean you had one in the colour you like, for about the same price as ebay will finish for, but brand new and in time hopefully for the do on Friday. And the one on the site is reversible, so you in effect get two dresses for the price of one assuming you like the other colour (sand) too!
Let me know if you want the code by PM, as I think you can't post codes on this thread, and am not sure anyway it can be used by more than one person.0 -
Poo!!! My mum has just emailed to say she is meant to be away this weekend for a long weekend (think it was a surprise for her bday, which is Thurs) and has said she'll cancel if I want her to as I'm due tomorrow and baby is likely to arrive weekend at earliest
have gone back and said she can go, of course.....
Have just e-mailed emma jane with confirmation of bra and clothes size and have confessed that I own no dresses or skirts, so would not be suitable for tights testing (my mother despairs at my lack of girly-ness - I don't own any handbags either - I borrow one off DD (aged 11 and has a massive collection thanks to my mum) or my mum if absolutely necessary. Don't mind knicks or swimwear though
Glam - I like the first dress best (my opinion) but I'm not a fan of green either. If people say it suits you though........ (It doesn't suit me - people tell me! Well, I can get away with khaki coloured stuff, like tshirts with combats)
Not much help, am I

I've resigned myself to spend more than that now to get the quality of IO.
Could u link to the dress u mean? as I can't find one on the IO website that does what u say!
If you could PM me the code that would be great although on their first page there is a code for 25% if ordered before 31st May. Not sure if this is the same.
Thanks so much!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
