    Hi
I'm Lynsey's Mum, she's asked me to let you all know, that she was rushed into hospital around 4am ish on Sunday, and had to have an emergency C section.
She has a lovely little boy, Rhys, 9 weeks early. Things are very touch and go at the moment. He's nearly breathing on his own, and tests need to be done today.
She had a rare condition 1 in 2500, called vasa previa, I think she called it.
    He weighs 3pounds 6 ounces.

Any way she just wanted you all to know, and she'll get in touch when she can, but I might let you know how she's doing if it'll be a while.

Lynsey is doing fine herself she says Rhys knows when she's there, and Craig is brilliant!

    Love to all, Julie

    Morning everyone,

Thanks for the vibes Gisi. Well had to get up because of a very uncomfatable ache in my back and side, started to think it was maybe the start of something with the sharp pains last night too but any pains I was having have now gone so probably more to do with lying down in same position too long

Had my brekkie and gonna have a shower in a min - just in case.

It's very very rainy and windy here and we are supposed to be having wood delivered mid morning so thats gonna be fun!!

    Hello ladies

Not even had time to look, never mind post, & now 30 pages to catch up on! Hope you're all OK, bumps behaving, etc.
Was my birthday yesterday, 41 now , & had some lovely pressies, several books, chocs, smellies & lunch out, so a good day - for a change!
Little 'un woke briefly at 6am today, dropped off & is STILL asleep - minor miracle! :rotfl:
My very poorly car having its service today - 18 months since it was done - keeps stalling & refusing to restart, always at very inconvenient & potentially dangerous spots, such as junctions, traffic lights, & ALWAYS when I've got loads of shopping & small child in the back. Hope it's nothing expensive! Methinks it's prob time for a new car, we've had it nearly 6 years & it's over 15 yrs anyway, so cue another one before new bean arrives.
Labour vibes, hugs n kisses to all - off to catch up on news over last few days!
    A xo

elle_gee's mum, Julie - tell her congrats at the good news & hope they're both improving. He sounds a good weight for such a young baby!
My sister's son was born very early (32 1/2 weeks), but is now a typical toddler of almost 2 & you'd never know how small he was then!

    Right,

    Catch up first:

ticklepenny - Happy birthday to you

Cheapskate - Happy birthday for yesterday

labour dust for all that need it

OMG - HUGE CONGRATS to Elle - Hoping you and your little one are safe. Thanks for keeping us updated Julie. Oh congrats to you also :D

As for me I'm ok, just really tired and in agony with my back. Didn't want to come to work today at all but was motivated by the fact that I only have 24 days left until my mat leave starts :T

Hope everyone else is keeping well.

Krystal - we can but hope! *sigh* I want this baby out asap I really really do... last night she was getting really painful in her kicking and punching and moving around - poor DH nearly flew off the sofa a few times thinking I'd gone into labour as I just doubled over with the pain of her stretching or doing whatever it is she's doing... not good and definitely not good for his nerves LOL!
