OH keeps giving me disapproving looks because he's been out all day and i'm still not dressed - mainly due to the fact my blistered sunburn hurts too much to wear anything but a blanket around me!! So i felt guilty and have been to do some washing and cleaned the kitchen.
Had to make him hang the washing out though because it hurts to lift my arms up!

Oh does anyone give their baby a name I've started calling ours Max in the hope it is a boy, even took a photo at the weekend of me on the beach saying "max's first day at the beach"..woops

We've got a few 'beans', 'chops', 'nuggets' etc on here. Mine is known as the lil lady DS1 was 'baba', DS2 was 'Bump' or... 'parasite' depending on how I was feeling that day.... Our cousins DD was 'alfie' as in 'alfie-noodle'..... Firends have had 'sprite', 'smurf'....

Ha ha they are very cute.. I only say Max because I like the name (Maximillian)... I like Jessica for a girl, so might flit between Max & Jess...

I have called it "IT" and "thing" before again depending how i was feeling x

I got everyone excited by saying 'she'. I didn't know the sex at that point, but had a feeling and it was better than 'it'. :rotfl: And I think saying 'baby' all the time gets annoying 'oh baby is moving', 'when baby gets here' etc.

I think so was Jasmine come to think of it. I'm not very imaginative when it comes to things like that !!

Will go back and catch-up in a bit, but just got into work after my booking-in appt! MW was very, very lovely and super-friendly. Also am really lucky that I've got a student MW assigned to me throughout the entire pregnancy...she's going to come to all scans, every appt, the birth and everything!! Really excited by this as have read lots of complaints by women (both here & elsewhere) of lack of continuity between MWs, so that is 1 thing we don't have to worry about.

They were really surprised I hadn't been contacted for my 1st scan, so they called the hospital there & then and now I have my 1st (NHS...I did have 1 privately at 8wks) on Monday!!!! I'll be 12+2, so that's perfect!! Really excited.

Brill news aless I was 12+2 yesterday when i had my first scan too It's so reassuring!

We started off with bubs, but this development into Mister Bubs at our 20wk scan when it was confirmed he was a he and sometimes get Bubsy too!

Someone keeps piling work on my desk :mad:my day of not doing very much has had me editing a report and beginning to sort the layout and design for a newsletter, which I need to finish, and I've now got another 2 report waiting to be looked at.
