I lay down to take my BP. Really going to hide the machine now. It's supposed to make me feel better, not worse. And why I ask you, if I am lying down doing nothing can my pulse be 100?? It's usually between 65-70bpm, but has been hammering all day. Wonder if it's the heat?

Our pool is the ELC car http://www.elc.co.uk/toy/gt-sports-car-pool/ that but in blue. Kids love it. Use it as a ball pit occasionally too. Unfortunately there is no space in our house for it :(

tia, do you feel OK? If you think its too high, maybe you should give them a ring and see what they say, otherwise, put the machine down, turn and slowly walk away from it !!!

Tia - I'd have to agree - might be a good thing just to run it by the midwife and make sure they don't want to check on you.

Sami - yup, I'd say maybe 90 minutes was a fair estimate of how long it took DH with ours. Poor guy! Do you deflate it again each time you use it? Or leave it up for a day or so? DH was a bit green after saying "I suppose we'll need to deflate it and re-inflate it next time we use it.":rotfl:

we leave it up for a week or so usually - depends how long the weather lasts really, My mum also has a traditional round paddling pool so if its a one off nice day we just pop that up

    Hi Ladies,

39+5 today and not enjoying this heat!

had a review at the hospital this morning and she offered me a sweep so I thought...why not!

Really wasn't bad at all, winced slightly when she was stretching the membranes but other than that just felt pressure down there. I've had some spotting and a bit of back ache since plus some period type pain, but been having those on and off for days so not reading anything into that.

Baby is 2/5ths and I'm 1cm dilated so fingers crossed.

I know everyone's experience is different but just wanted to let you know about mine as i found it fine. hopefully i will be able to report it's success soon.
