Ooo - not long now for you Molly!!

    Are you all sorted??

Pretty much, just a few little bits to be done in the nursery, touching up paintwork etc. And I have almost finished packing my hospital bag. I washed all the baby clothes, blankets and sheets last week, I am sure I must have shrunk them 'cause they look so tiny! :rotfl:

I am starting to nest as well, as I have been cleaning things I don't normally even notice ie. coffee maker, back of the PC, up the chimney . Why am I doing this??!! I don't think the baby will be venturing up there any time soon! :rotfl:

I'm good thanks, have my bag packed and most of babys bag packed, nursery all ready bar the cot bed which is being delivered on Monday and that should be me, feet up for a couple of weeks!!
Had a bit of a wobbler yesterday after my hospital appointment but now feel ready, but then I have a 6 year old who is starting to get pangs of jealousy already and has become quite clingly in the last few weeks !!
God help me for doing this again !!!!!!!!!

Have you started getting anything done?

Because as soon as you give birth you won't be able to keep on top of the basic cleaning, never mind any 'extras'.

I can strangely, find time to come on here lol!! Surfing whilst feeding is an important skill ;)

Is anyone on here in rented accom? while of course we'll buy some essential furniture and stuff, there's no real "doing up the nursery" for us...it does sadden me a bit, but nothing we can do.

MM - not yet, we had the wedding to occupy our minds for the last couple of months but am now starting to really think about what we need to get - went into Mothercare the other day and there is so much stuff there (most of which I am sure we don't need) and it is all so expensive.

I am also a bit worried and feel I ought to wait until week 24 when the baby becomes "viable" just in case - but it is a bit depressing thinking like that.

My SIL sent us a frog outfit she spotted and got us!! and my aunt knitted a little white cardy for us. Wich is so cute. I am not sure I can wait much longer and keep thinking that buying a little bit every month will help spread the cost.

Afternoon ladies, my bump is now officially showing and I'm still embarassed when im asked about it, bit a guys head of at work, woops...

Well had my pratical H&S exam today, think went ok but not too confident ekk, Just at work now, tying everything up ready for the weekend.. I burnt in the car driving back ouch my neck is killing, memo to self remember skin is more sensitive.. Going try and risk a bikini on the beach at the weekend..

Oh hubby sent me good luck flowers today for exam, but feel they are a softener for him going away next weekend to Benidorm with friends... im soo ungrateful, rather him pay for my haircut/colour tomorrow..

Glam, I'm still on Lucozade and tuna sandwiches, plus now scones which my Grandma made for me this morning and has just dropped off with a tub of Lurpak and a jar of Robinson's Strawberry jam :)

I can't wait for my bump to show - although I shall probably be wishing it will go down later on! :)

nancmat - I think only you know what's right for you. So just ignore her. It's not like your going back to work after two weeks (which is the earliest you can go back!) plus you will be on reduced hours.

It does make you angry though when everyone has an opinion on your pregnancy but you can only do what is right for you so sod everyone else is what I say.
