You can add mine to that list. Last time she asked twice if I was having a boy or a girl and every time I go she asks if ive booked parentcraft, she filled out a matb1 for me twice in one appointment and signed and dated my hipg to early so i had to apply again. and thats just a few of the sippy things she does.

Decided that as I feel so crap today I'm just going with the chav look, along with going-greasy hair in a pony tail, yesterdays make up, unbrushed teeth and the slightly swollen look.

On a serious note, I'm going to get some lunch then phone day care, I just feel generally crappy, headache not shifting with paracetamol, BP is 150/95 which isn't too high but I just feel strange. And have done since wednesday, hopefully they will have my urine results back and will tell me if I have a UTI or not.

You sound gorgeous, girl! Can you accessorise it perhaps with a Greggs sausage roll eaten out of the bag, and a can of red stripe :rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon. I'd second those who say ditch the tights and go au naturel by the way (unless its freezing where you are), especially if you might have a UTI. Personally I hate having to wear tights when pregnant unless its absolutely required for common decency. Maybe you could pick up a bottle of Johnsons Summer Sun or something similar and get your OH to give you a nice leg massage with it later, so that at least you'd have a bit of colour on your swellings?

    Hi girlies,
Just came on to see how far down the list I am now I've got just under 2 weeks to go, and found I am 6th! This has gone too fast, a couple of weeks ago I showed DH the list and counted I was 20-something I'm sure. I did have a date-twin although I can't remember who it was, might have to go back and check out an old list and see if I actually did.

I have been lurking most days, the conversations move too fast for me as I come on and read back over the past 5 or so pages at a time and by the time I have something to say in response it's already moved on lol. Generally I'm in agreement with most things posted:

Sitting here at nearly midday in pj's, greasy ponytail and no motivation to move - check
Swollen feet and hands so DH calls me Professor Klump - check
Eating far too much chocolate - check

Been trying to rest but keep finding things that need doing, but as of today I really am taking it easy as having terrible SPD and just feel like I haven't relaxed enough late on in the pregnancy so am making the most of it now!

Glam - I kno this is a bit random but I have been meaning to say it 2 u for ages and keep forgetting
Have you been keeping up the bio-oil on ur boobs? (sorry I sound like such a perv!)
If not I suggest u do because I have a scar on my nip that got really sore when I was feeding Chris so I've been a bit weary of it this time in preparation but obv you have even more scars that could get sore.
I haven't been going around thinking about ur boobs honest! :p

Thanks for thinking of my boobies!!!

I don't actually but I will from now on!!

OMG Honeypot, it's like something I would write today. I'm sitting here with greasy ponytail, pj's, a large bar of dairy milk. SPD particularly bad today after a busy day yesterday. No swollen feet or hands yet though but going for a walk later (if I can - its so sunny, i gotta try) so there's still time.

I got exactly 4 weeks left. Can't believe how quick it's gone either.

back from nurse and little trip to boots.
urine was clear and BP was 127/87 which is lower than last week
Tia- if my bp got to as high as yours i'm in hospital. consultatnt has told me to go straight to hospital if it gets to 140/90 :(
spke bout it before to OH and we have agreed that i will put an overnight bag together just in case it heppens. though hopefully as long as i keep taking my meds and relax and chill a bit i will be ok.

went to boots and bought our 1st nappies. got the free changing bag as well. wouldnt say it was 'designer' but it does the job and doesnt look too girly either. also managed to do all this without panicing and crying like when i bought the steriliser/breast pump. :D

    Hi all,

I am finally back online after having a wonderful wedding and honeymoon. Day was perfect for the wedding. If anyone wants a nose at my pics have a look here:
    http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=99036&id=620832119&saved#/photo.php?pid=2391635&id=620832119

Only slight downside on honeymoon was that just after we arrived I had some bleeding (only a very small amount) but started worrying all the same especially after the 9 hour plane journey. But luckily that was it and we managed to relax the rest of the time.

I have finally put my 12 scan on too (21/04/09) I am now 18 weeks and my due date changed to 1st November. If anyone is changing the list feel free to amend it but I am not too worried with a 2 day difference.

So many people seem to have given birth since I have been away - congratulations to you all. I made the mistake of looking at the birth stories and was almost in tears (maybe my hormones as well as the thought of the pain) - I'll look again in a few months time, I can't really take it in at the mo.

Well like I said I am now 18 weeks and although the nausea has gone (which is such a relief) I am still being sick every so often - about twice a week now (including the morrning of my wedding day and the night before it!) but without the constant nausea it is bearable. The tiredness has kicked in instead.

I haven't had a chance to catch up on everything yet (and probably won't because I feel so tired) so I hope everyone is okay and pregnancies are all running smoothly?

Now that the wedding is "out the way" we are now thinking about baby stuff so will be asking loads more questions now. Be prepared!!

    Love Karen
    xx
PS Sorry for the long post.
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early) :D

    Hi Jillie,

Glad the nurse went well. Hard to relax if you think about having to go into hospital so good luck.

With the boots nappies and bag, can you use the coucher for the £1 of the nappies at the same time as the voucher for the free bag?
