Come on little Rhys, the world is a scary place but you need to splash in muddy puddles and smear what might be chocolate/weetabix/poo/all three on a door for mummy to clean up.

My neighbour called over the fence and she is PG too! She is due in September with her second and it's another boy. She is going to have it in hospital and has already decided on an epidural  Not sure why really but seemed rude to question her on her choices!
I have a friend due next week, she went and bought a t-shirt about 2 weeks after she found out she was pregnant saying 'make mine an epidural' she doesn't understand why I'd want to do it with no pain relief but she didn't question it... I think she's quite welcome to make her choice on pain relief and wouldn't dream of questioning it... Everyone is welcome to their own opinions on things, we don't always have to share them...

I'll be saying big prayers for baby Rhys and Elle and Craig!

Oh, our little food empire is expanding, we take over what will be a coffee and sandwich bar a week on Saturday. So I need to find 2 cheap and easily cleaned high chairs. Any ideas? And there is a recess corner area that currently houses a pool table but by the time this little miss is walking, it will be a kiddies play area so must hoard suitable toys (like my two bouncy chairs?). I smell ebay.... :D:j

Thoughts and prayers from me and OH to Elle, Craig and Rhys, XXX. Both so impressed with your brave positive posting earlier. With your strength of character he has the best chance possible.
Too many children, too little time!!!

tia, how hard did you find it to set up the 1st business. Me and OH have always wanted a cafe / pub / B & B something like that. He is a chef and I have 8 years catering experiance up to management level, but neither of us have any business experience at all !!!

I thought about them, but would you be happy to put your lo in that in a cafe? It's that vinyl flooring so the legs might slip. Might be too high for the tables too...

    what about this? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3760103/c_1/1|category_root|Nursery|12109130/c_2/2|cat_12109130|Highchairs|12109165.htm

know the worst thing? I'd get the cheap one for myself....

Bad news girls; Rhys ha took a turn for the worse, may have to go back on the ventilator and Elle has been told to think about future decisions just in case. :(

:heartpuls:cry: I'm not religious but i sincerely pray to god that he will be okay.

MM, we jumped in at the deep end in August! Lease for that place is still not in our name. But we did learn a lot. Always get a report from enviromental health/hygeine etc, check the planning (takeaway doesn't have planning for the fryer so we are sorting that out), place was filthy.... But my Mum and my Bro are the chefs, my Dad has been in ctaering for years too, the food is good, they keep it clean and tidy and the EH people come to us for their lunch. I was doing the books, but stopped when I was officially pregnant, now I kinda do the research stuff (price searching, regulations etc), running to cash and carry (asda/tesco for cheap ingredients), design the flyers and menus, the IT stuff mainly.

If you have the money, now is a good time. Small places that have a good market and that are sending out good food are keeping afloat while the crappy places are dying. It's word of mouth that has kept us afloat. Though if we were better prepared the first time we would be doing a lot better (and not hit with bills to fix a rotten sink unit, fix a fridge, fix the extractor fans etc that EH had been telling the previus owner to do for 3 years!). Get into the small business gateway if you have one and take all teh advice they give before doing it and you will get on better.
