Congratulations - so many since I properly checked in last, hope don't miss any - MrsT, elle, tickle, greent and sugar. Sending you all bucket loads of health and happiness. Here's hoping that krystal and candice will be joining the birth list very soon!

My 12 week (well 12+5) scan is on Tuesday morning at 10am and I am driving DP nuts as am absolutely and utterly paranoid that my little cell cluster won't be there and my body's just been faking the whole thing and my little bump isn't there at all. I am sure this is a completely normal feeling but I just can't think it'll be OK. Think what you might but as some kind of chill out attempt, DP has just poured me 80ml (half a glass=1 unit) of best rioja to sip. If nothing else, it might send me to sleep! So hope everyone smilier than me today!

MrsM, have you had a meeting with the anethatist (sp??) they will be able to discuss all the options with you for emergency and non emergency situations. When are you next at the hospital for a scan? Phone them ahead of that and ask if you can talk to one when you are in as you want to be aware of what may happen. They will be happy to talk you through it

Don't worry about having a wee glass of wine always !!! We all need something sometimes !!
Mine is the odd glass of west coast cooler !! (I am so hard core lol)

Mrs.Moc, if it is an emergency and you are bleeding they will usually give you a general. I don't think you can really plan for it. Only advice I can give is to get moving as soon as you can so you don't get the trapped wind that makes you vomit (anyone else get that? I was tested for meningitis as I was that sick, horrible.)

What will be will be, and at the end of the day so long as you and the little miss are good and well, you will eventually forget about the section, won't happen over night but it does eventually happen.

Glam, I had a good time, not the best but made the most of it. Spent most nights in pain with BH due to all the walking and my bump has just got huge, but still well worth it Congrats on team blue btw, can't remember if you found out before I went away or after.

Well...the doc thought it was implantation bleeding...turns out it wasnt ended up going for a scan to see if everything was ok, and the woman that was seeing to me basically said that ive lost it cos of my weight!!! not the nicest thing to hear, especially as its my 2nd loss. She also accused me of lying, saying that cos i didnt get a test at the doctors that i couldnt have been sure that i was pregnant...FGS how hard is it to tell the difference between a + and a - on a test!!!!!!

Sorry just had to have a rant, not doing very good at mo, and as im starting to come off anti depressants its not the best of times for me

Sparkly - I'm so sorry, and that was a horrid thing to say to you! I'm nornally a size 8 but I lost my last baby so it's nothing at all to do weight. Huge hugs on your loss - my baby would have been due tomorrow so I'm all sad and down too. PM me if you want to talk :A

SSS - thanks so much for your amazing birth story. Sounds scary as hell but so glad your LO is OK and doing well.

Elle - Rhys looks great and not that small. Sounds v scary but he's here now and that's what counts. You were my date buddy so I miss ya loads and am going to take your advice and take more bump pics and stuff.

Phew! I have no news really. OH has been painting the bedroom today although we have to sleep on the sofabed tonight cos it's not finished, and I've done some gardening.

My neighbour called over the fence and she is PG too! She is due in September with her second and it's another boy. She is going to have it in hospital and has already decided on an epidural Not sure why really but seemed rude to question her on her choices!

Am nesting like mad now, sorting out clutter and buying storage boxes so we can put stuff in the loft and make space for the baby.

Can;t believe I have only about eight weeks to go! :j
