I've been busily filling in forms. Plan for the rest of the evening: tidy bedroom, eat dinner, shower, convince husband to make bedroom messy again with me, sleep.

It's a good life. We live a couple of floors up on a main road, and there was just an absolute cloudburst - five minutes' warning and then the heavens opened. Right on a group of girls who've been parading up and down like they're hot all day long. I've been sitting here feeling fat and swollen and cellulitey and they they are all hotpants and skinny legs. I'm so glad they're miserable and wet now.

Im a bit stressed out, but coping. Night times are rough as I feel a bit panicky incase I bleed, so im sleeping during the day.

Im not convinced my marriage is going to survive this and im not even sure I care about that.

My Dad who I havent heard from in years has been in touch, im not sure how I feel about that either lol.

Im not used to having all these major problems, I just want to be normal again. The good news is this nightmare can only last another 8 weeks most :T

Other than the constant pain in my hips and back, all is well with me.:)
Try to think only of yourself and the kids for now, and deal with everything else after. If you are not ready to talk to your dad yet, just ask him to wait until you are healthy again to meet up or something.

Mrs M I posted just now but it didnt post and was having a very self indulgant moan but now things are in perspective after reading yours, I'm so sorry for you but you are being very strong.

While I'm sure lots of people will disagree with discharging yourself from hospital you did take the harder road, it would have been easier to pretend it wasnt happening but you're facing it full on so well done but remember to look after yourself - maybe tell your father to leave it a while then get back in touch.

Nice to 'see' you Mrs Moc, glad you're keeping well, do try not to stress too much

I'm getting patches of eczema on my hands... Really hoping it doesn't turn into a full blown outbreak... Don't think I could cope with pompholyx and a newborn!
