No ones house could be messier than mine !!
I have this overly tidy sitting room as that is where everyone who visits gets ushered, and the rest of the house is a bomb site !!
Clothes, toys, paperwork, etc ... etc ...
One day I will be an organised person, it just may be one day very far away !!!:)

You can't move in my conservatory cos there's a sofa, weights bench, weights, tumble dryer, clothes horses, 2 pushchairs, changing unit and a bookcase.
Dining room and living room are reasonably tidy

3 bedrooms upstairs - it's like an assault course getting from one side to the other with car seat, moses basket, play mat etc.

OH won't throw anythig out but my weekend includes listing all his eBay stuff so that should shift loads of stuff.

You wanna see my desk in work, it's horrendous! I actually meet people in the GP rooms as mine is so bad!

I got given a fridge magnet once that said
'Tidy people are too lazy to look for things'
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

My house is not too bad, but OH came in tonight and said 'ooh have you tidied up?' when all I'd done was put the washing up away! Doesn;t take much to keep him happy :rotfl:

I will never have a perfect house cos I'm just not like that, but I think it's usually OK, if lived-in.

Right. Bug war is almost over (we're closing in on their last hidey hole). My name change should be fine if my boss agrees to sign the form and the photo. His name change is going to be more problematic but he's going to the embassy tomorrow so hopefully it will be done or at least started then. The toys are in the new toybox and the space saved by not having them in a small heap is phenomenal.

Living room still needs to be tidied, but I'm getting tired. Hmmm.

I suffer terribly with my house... I just seem to accumulate stuff... It gathers everywhere... I did have some kind of system in place when it was just me and Aimee... It was not alway visitor tidy, but it wasn't embarrasingly messy if people turned up... When hubby moved in, everything just seemed to go pear shaped... The house was in a constant state, really started getting me down... And he didn't actually do anything either... He's been a lot better just recently, I think the fact I struggle to do anything means he is more inclined to help than mutter 'I go to work' when I ask him to do something... Don't know how it will be once I'm capable again... But as long as I can get it back to the even keel I'll be happier...

I've had a slightly weird day! OH has hurt his foot and the GP recommended an ice pack as well as heavy duty painkillers. He picked up the prescription himself last night but I went to Boots today to buy the icepack. As I was paying this pharmacist launched herself across the room at speed, and said "Is that for you?". I replied "No" and continued paying. "Well who is it for?" she asked. "My OH" I said. She clearly didn't believe me, and said "Well you mustn't use it, as its very very dangerous in pregnancy". ice on a foot? Why is that? Do eskimo women have high risk pregnancies then.

When I got home I had a final demand to pay tax and national insurance for over £500 which I think is weird as well as I haven't worked for more than 5 years and my only income is child benefit, carers allowance, and a small amount of interest on our joint accounts. The sort code on the letter to make a payment isn't recognised by my bank as valid, and isn't the one for HMRC listed on the internet, and I wasn't able to get through to anyone by phone. Do you have to pay NI contributions if not employed then, and only in receipt of carers allowance, which is only about £45 a week anyway? I am very confused!
