Tara are you married?
oh and how many of ur bubbas are ur OH's (if u don't mind my nosy qus:o) and is it Ben thats ur youngest , how old is he?
Not married. Ben is OH's, he's 5. Others are bit of a mixture.:o Hate it when people work it out. Never stayed with anyone this long before, don't trust people, have a real self esteem problem. The minute people work it out I get uncomfortable and have moved areas to protect us. Stoopid thing is that my kids are so much nicer than those from what I call normal families but some people are so stuck up, should try looking in the mirror properly each morning!
SM, I was pregnant at 15, married at 16.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
There is a gap isn't there - like I said earlier we were all busy at Christmas or bringing in he New Year!
OMG! That's just reminded me of a recent cringe-making moment. My parents live in Northern Ireland and we were over there for the New Year. My 80 year old mother, who didn't even tell me about periods much less ever mention the facts of life when I was growing up, suddenly blurted out "So was your baby conceived here then?"
To put this in context OH and I had to sleep in separate rooms until we were married, and have spent the last 17 years since we were married in single beds every time we visit!
Searching, I don't have a problem with you complaining about noise late in the evening, but it was the half dozen posts you made from 3pm to early evening today in strong terms about your neighbours which caught my eye. I have to say I think complaining at 8pm is marginal though, as if your neighbours work, then they'd only just be coming home by then and its not their fault you have rubbish soundproofing in the building and a youngish child. Often when you are actually in the place making the noise, you find that the volume on the stereo isn't up that high, and its just the way the building is constructed which causes the reverbations. In which case the answer is to hassle the freeholder to modify the structure or to take steps to soundproof your own flat better or to move to a detached house somewhere.
In case you are wondering, I'm not a noise-hound myself. I don't play a musical instrument or even music on the stereo much, but I am a firm believer in live and let live, and in recognising that there are limits to the extent to which you can dictate what others do in their own homes if their behaviour is not in fact unreasonable but has negative consequences on you for reasons beyond their control.0 -

Big hugs to Mrs Moc. I really hope your OH sees sense eventually, but remember that you need to look after yourself firstly – only he can make the decision to get proper help. You can’t make him sadly.
Welcome to CSH!
Glad you enjoyed your holiday Jilly. Sounds nice and relaxing.
Labour vibes to Mrs T, Krystal, Candice and greent! No news yet from Sugarspunsister? She will have her little bundle of joy by now!!
On the subject of kitchen appliances (I know I am going back a few hours here!), I have a tumble dryer, dishwasher etc, but what I would really love is a double oven! I hate only having one oven which also doubles as the grill. It means I can’t make gammon steak or grill something and make oven chips to go with it. It drives me mental. I can’t afford a new kitchen, but I would not buy a house again that doesn’t have a double oven!!!!
OH felt baby kick tonight for the first time!! Yaaay. He was really happy as I have been telling him for a few weeks, but he kept missing it or it wasn’t strong enough. But tonight he felt loads of kicks. So pleased!! :j
SM/MM – are you enjoying your mat leave?0 -
Good evening ladies!
I made it back safely from my last trip before the blessed event and am horrified not to read any reports of any new babies!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
Fitzio - a combi oven could be your friend. The same size as a microwave, and you can nuke, grill or oven in them, or a combination of all 3. And they aren't very expensive these days.0
