Morning all! Well good news and bad news today.

Hubby's car which he bought less than a week ago needed new brake pads and shoes (I wasn't aware cars had shoes!) so that's £130 gone.

On the positive side, have just got my new bank cards with my married name on ( have been married 8 years and only got round to changing them 3 weeks ago!) This has meant I could apply for a Virgin 0% balance transfer for my Smile CC. Just been accepted - yeh! Can now deal with it without the interest being added.

Should now be tidying the house for Mothers arrival tomorrow as she is looking after the children for the week as I start back from maternity leave on Monday. However, there is just so much to do I don't know where to start. Also have to go to Morrisons as have no food in the house. Really can't be bothered as have also got a good book on the go at the moment.

I can see that I will end up wasting time all day and not actually achieve anything at all!

Oh and I'd love to share the teacakes with you Horace!;)

Hiya Bunny - hope you are well

Ok, so I've taken two empty boxes out from the hall - so now I've achieved something I feel I deserve a break!

I just remembered a weird dream I had last night, I don't remember much of it, just that my face was absolutely covered in spots. I remember looking in the mirror and being shocked and trying to clean my face up desperatly.

How come the more you start to tidy up the more you find to do? Just made the mistake of looking in the fridge for dd's lunch. All I could come up with was some week old mixed veg and a jar of jam!
Needless to say it's jam on toast for lunch and then I really MUST go shopping.
