Hello all, in a good mood today, things are moving along at an acceptable pace. Gonna grab a shower in a bit and I plan to sing my little head off in it. Mental as anything - Live it up is top of my list, Maroon 5 - She will be loved is second and probably some Bon Jovi as well.

Hi folks

I was rudely woken up at 3am by someone's house alarm going off:mad: then before 8 my kind of ex (long story) rang me to say that he had had been woken up by riremen this morning as it seems the silly twonk left the grill on on Thursday night and obviously went out on the lash last night so got home, ignoring plumes of smoke coming from the kitchen and the intense smell of burning metal and gas and promptly stripped off and lay on top of his bed. He was mortified that firemen had got in and seen him in his birthday suit so I said they had seen worse:rotfl: Now he has to go and buy a new cooker and clean his kitchen - he asked me to drive to London to help him do it but I have a wedding dinner to go to this afternoon.

Went out this morning to Bromsgrove to do a mystery shop - a lovely one where I didnt have to buy anything just make an enquiry:cool: Then I wandered down to see the new restaurant that has opened where Baylis's furniture shop used to be (how they got planning permission for that facade I will never know) and then I wandered into the cake shop - Regency and stupidly bought a bag of teacakes, I was still half asleep and ended up paying £4.50 - 5 in a bag:eek: I would have expected to pay £2 at most so now I have to make damn sure I savour these and treat them with reverence as they were so damned expensive:eek::mad:

Off to Hanbury later for my mate's wedding dinner (yawn - I don't want to go because she is a bridezilla)
