After midnight isn't the time of day to be making a noise. I had a noisy neighbour once, she used to wake up at 3pm and put on her dance music until about 5am. My girls were babies then so when they woke up a 6 I used to bash the radiators with saucepans. She got nosier, so I got the CD of 'grandma we love you' put it on a loop at full volume, speakers pointing at her wall and went away for the weekend. She shut up after that :A
