An absolutely essential product at an absurdly good price:

Tell your family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, etc. - it could save their lives.

Got mine in Nottingham. Would be a good idea if you can put in the original price in the title to reflect what a good deal it isProblem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Thanks to the OP for this, picked one up in Dinnington today. There was another one left on the shelf.0

I find it really interesting (but baffling!) that carbon monoxide gets so much publicity, when each year there are on average 40 deaths linked to it.
Over 2000 people die every year from lung cancer linked to radon exposure, yet it's never in the news, and subsequently people don't bother testing their homes for it. Radon tests can be got for under £25, which would then tell you whether you need to take action to lower the level in your property (which is also relatively inexpensive).0 -
Still some on the shelves at Nottingham's Top Valley - £4.89 at the till0

Could you tell me where can you get radon tests for under £25? We are looking at testing our home and we have looked into it and it is £40. Thanks!SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -
Couldn't find in the Barnstaple store - not even a suggestion that they had the offer in the 1st place.0

Where have you looked already? The HPA usually charge £40, but there are commercial companies who offer tests too (who use independent labs for the analysis, so they can't scam you or anything). The Radon Council has a list of contractors who do testing http://www.radoncouncil.org/CONTRACTORS.HTM0 -
My OH got one of these from martlesham tescos this afternoon, there was no sign of any offer, but told him to get them to check it at checkout and it scanned at £4.89, so he got it. Many thanks, been meaning to get one for ages.0
