This is on the main Sky.com page and it infers that it is £30 but that is only new customers. Existing customers have to click the upgrade link where it is £49.
I might have a serious look at that Virgin package myself.0 -

I phoned Sky yesterday saying that we were thinking of cancelling and asked for a free Sky+ box but was unable to clinch the deal.
Phoned again today and told them that at our local shopping centre they were advertising free box and installation for £30 (new customers) and that I'd like to have the same - we've been a customer for approx 10 years and that, as Virgin were giving away the free box, I was going to go with them. I also said that I had read on the internet that they had given the box for free to other existing customers and I felt it was unfair that we were being excluded - all I wanted was to receive the same fair treatment. I had to stress that we were happy to cancel. After a bit of hmmming and ha-ing and a referral to the manager, they finally agreed. We're happy enough to pay the £30 installation charge, thought it might be pushing my luck too much if I argued further! - it's coming next Wednesday (fingers crossed).0 -

Sorry if this a stupid question:o
But I don't have sky. If I were to get the free sky box, is there a monthly subscription fee I would have to pay?
Thanks in advance0 -
