Yeah I am thanks GT. :kisses3:
Had a good 13 hour sleep which has helped!
Also reduced my credit limits (see above) which makes it feel like I'm getting somewhere again!0 -

It's kind of scary seeing how quickly that credit/potential debt adds up. If only the actual money piled up as quick
good efforts though, glad to see you're feeling a bit more perky today. I get that mid-month slump too - it was pay-day today and all my money is transferred into it's various savings pots etc, but now I have to wait another month. Boring!0 -

As for the suggestions on what to do, the card night and BBQs are a great idea. Card night especially. I've done these 3 times since Xmas and everybody loves it, we are there untill 3 in the morning every time (not planned, that's just when everyone starts to feel it!). It costs about £5-10, dependant on how you play it. You could do the ultra cheap way and play for nothing, so then it will just cost you a few beers. or as we do, we all put a fiver in, then get 100 chips each. This lasts for HOURS, and you may even come out on top! with winnings it has worked out that it has cost me nothing over the 3 tiems. and at worst, I would be out £15 TOTAL and the cost of beers (which beeing a bit cheeky, when people bring beers for the night they all seem to bring to much which stocks my fridge for the next one - lol).:rotfl:I forgot to say didn't I???
:rotfl: We ermmmm used to play for pennies or played with Monopoly money!
:rotfl: LOL I'm useless at cards cos I always forget the rules.............so I'd never play for real REAL money!

Just so you know, I was talking about £5 for 100 chips, ie 5p per chip! It just seems to make people play a bit more sensibly and still lasts a good few hours!0

Feeling a bit more positive today. Things seem to coming together!
My debts are starting to look quite 'good' (word used very loosely :rotfl: ) in the sense in things are where I want them to be!
Egg (Limit - £500) = £0
Capital One (Limit - £7,000) = £6,596.99
Morgan Stanley (Limit - £2,300) 5.9% = £2,228.57
Tesco (Limit - £600) 7.9% = £15
HSBC (Limit £2,250) 0% - 14th December ‘06 – 14.9% = £2,250.00
American Express (Limit £2,900) 4.9% = £2,755.00
Tesco Loan 6.7% = £15,773.86
Total: = £29,619.42
In the next week payments for Capital One, Morgan Stanley, Tesco and HSBC will be coming out. Tesco will be all paid off and I can try and get a good BT or I will close it! :j
Have done my sums and should be able to stay in the black this month despite overpaying my Egg and Tesco card by nearly £150!0 -
