Well this new financial year hasn't started as I mean to go on!
£15 on toiletries! Haircut!
And the pollen filter on my car needs fixing AGAIN but shouldn't be more than £20!
On the plus side.........................well there isn't one yet! :rotfl:0 -
Well I'm agonisinly close to breaking the £25k barrier! :wall:
That will be done this time next week. :j
Getting a nice pay packet this month aswell. About £600 more than normal so have to decide whether to pay it all towards debts or some of it, and if some of it, how much?
Need to get back into the matched betting malarky aswell but just can't be bothered! :rotfl:
Really need to get my !!!!!! back in gear coz I've been a right lazy g!t the last 10 days or so but have needed to recharge the batteries.
Got a few things to ebay aswell but am gonna wait for a cheapy listing day!
Nowt much else to report!0 -
Oooh... breaking the 25k barrier so soon is brilliant! :T
As for the £600... if you didn't pay it all off the debt what would you spend the remainder on? I mean, is there something specific you want to do with it? You've done so well that a treat is in order I'd think.... but then your total will come down even more if all that goes on the debt, difficult choice! I'd say if there's something you really want then go for it but nothing too extravagant hey?! ..... as if you would!!
A bit of laziness is ok... your matched betting total is still impressive! I was on the verge of trying some matched betting at the weekend but then chickened out :rotfl: I get the concept in my head, just get confused at the last minute and don't do it, doh! :rolleyes:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

If it's £600 you don't normally get, why not give yourself £100 and put £500 to the debts? I'm sure you've said that you give yourself £100 per month for 'entertainment', so why not double it this month and still pay off half a k? Splash out on a haircut!!!!!!You must need one by now - is a least 3 days since you last had one!!!!!!
Well done, spectacular success!!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi there!
As lurker/sometime-poster was also reading your other thread (a year on MSE) and how you started out and just wanted to say well done!
Also is that 9ish grand you have paid off ina year?????!!! It's making me think of that thing - that when you're debt free you could really save up a lot of money still living in the MSE way!
But anyway, I think you deserve a treat!
Alex x
btw, no idea what these car mats are, maybe should come on MSE more often!!!!!0
