Hockey Duo - Watch the weight, a light weight one is best as you end up lugging it around.

    Be back later.

    afternoon all!

Happy anniversary to the Haribos

Aussie - hope you get your locket back

Redruby - well done to your OH:T

    NoahsPennilessMummy (((hugs)))

jackieO - sorry for your friends loss

had a stressful afternoon - DS1 rang to say the front of his car had collapsed at a busy junction:eek: the wishbone had collapsed(if you've got any idea what that is:D) luckily some men helped him get it off the road.
We are all in the RAC which expires next week(joined the AA as its cheaper) but were still able to use them and eventually they collected it and took it to a garage for repair. the stress of it all made my IBS play up but I've popped some pills and it feels a bit calmer now.

OS - managed to virtually dry 2 loads of washing in between the showers.
Ironing done and quorn cottage pies made.

Am working 31 hours over the next 3 days so not much time to do anything else.

Have a great weekend all x
    Do what you love :happyhear

Thanks I think basic is the way to go. Those computer ones are a little crazy:confused: Seen some that come with a 'starter kit' i.e. packs of thread, scissors, case etc for udner £100 here. Is this reasonable?

That looks great for the money IMHO. Like DonnyGal says some of them can be weighty but 6kg doesn't seem too bad. I especially liked the hard cover - very useful. Sorry for the delay I've been helping DD & DS1 iron clothes for their joint big birthday night out tonight ;)

WannabeSybil How are you & Little Bear today?

    Peyton Welcome Back!!

    HI everybody,

Stayed off pc again to-day...not sure I did anything extra around the house but needed to get out of all-day use habit.

    Happy anniversary to the Haribos!

Rain but mild here, in one of the dry spells I hung out a machine full of washing, nothing needed in a hurry so hopefully they will dry sometime!

We had a salad tea this evening, cold meat, eggs and fish, lots of lovely fresh salad leaves and scallions just picked this afternoon, potato salad and soup if anyone needed anything hot....still there for to-morrow as I am going to Cork for a funeral....almost 3 hours each way but DS1 and family will meet us somewhere for lunch and then home....OH has a streaming cold so not sure if he will come, hope he does as I don't particularly like long solo journies.

Thunder is feeling lonely even though we put Sile in with him every day...he woke me early this morning but was happy to go back to bed after a cuddle. Sile continues to enjoy the tennis on tv...thought animals couldn't see it, she definitely moves her head in time to the ball!

Nic....where in Ireland is the wedding you are coming to?

    Aussie....hugs re locket

Hugs to all in need or want to-day, congratulations to all who are celebrating, sleep well all

Thanks for all your kind wishes about my locket. I feel it's a lost cause though, but I really appreciated them.

Haribo- Have a lovely Anniversary chickie. Feed him plenty of oysters. ;)

JackieO- Congratulations & the sauce sounds delish. Hope you find some.

    Ruby - That's great news.

I've been awake most of the night. I'm just waiting for it to get a bit later to ring the hospital. I had to call the ambulance at 4am and they carted DH away. He's been in pain for 24hours  in his stomach etc. He was a mess. Not sure what it is, could be appenx, stones,. But whatever it is, it's not normal.

So plans today are ring the hospital & go from there. Sleep well. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
