Not sure if I should even admit this...but we have cleaners who bring their own stuff. Not money saving at all I know, but in my defence, as Martin says, MSE is about saving money to spend on what you want to spend it on, and at this time of my life (1 toddler, 1 baby) I want to spend my time with them and I hate cleaning but love cooking so do all that OS. And I know I am very lucky to be able to afford it.
oh dear - I hope I don't get drummed off MSE for this as I've only just joined - I'm off to bake my own bread as penance.0 -
I guess my cleaning arsenal is not that OS but I really only need these three products to clean anything.
Bleach
Star Drops or Washing up Liquid
Almond Oil Spray

I use microfibre cloths for cleaning windows, our glass coffee table, and all the many mirrors in our house. I only use hot water, and use the microfibre glass cloth to polish to a shine. No chemicals at all.
I also have a cleaner, but she uses our stuff, and likes the microfibre cloths. Bleach for down the loo, and am using up the Cif bathroom cleaner.Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

I use a 50/50 white vinegar and water mix in a spray for surfaces. Tesco value cream cleaner, value bleach in a spray, and damp microfibre cloths for polished surfaces. Hot water with a glug of bleach and dash of value washing up liquid for the kitchen floor. Hot water with a few drops of washing up liquid for the windows.
I find the value bleach easier to use in a spray because it is thin. Yesterday I sprayed my tiles in the bathroom, the grout had got a bit yellow. They came up lovely and it was much easier than my usual putting the bleach on with a painting brush.0
