I wonder if there is anyway around collecting these passes in person, for those like you who live so far away -it might be worth giving them a ring and seeing if they would consider you forwarding the lastminute voucher email to them with photos of the kids attached and then sending them a SAE for them to post to you.

Great post! If you are only planning a couple of trips in the year Walkers Crisps has half price day tickets for adults at £18 with voucher.

    You need 15 vouchers, 26 vouchers on a 26 multipack (2 for £5 i think )at Asda.
Won't cost so much up front!

May be worth trying, I will try and find the number and give them a call tomorrow. Its likely that we'll only go once, or maybe twice but if we can get a bogof for me and OH then i think it'll work out worth it to get this?
  • worth looking at their basic annual pass if you are only planning a couple of visits

its £53 for an adult on their website, (cant find it cheaper elsewhere) just in case you end up going more than three times. but there are some exclusion dates, although there are a lot of weekends included.

seen they do a 'passholder thursday' where you can get half price entry for friends each week with an annual pass too. not clear if you need a voucher

legoland is clearly the best value attraction for passholders in my opinion

I went today to get the child passes and had a 2 for 1 adult voucher. I was able to upgrade 1 of the adult tickets to an annual pass, as they took off the entry price paid. Although the park opened at 10am, the ticket booths opened at about 9.20am and we had to go to guest services inside the gate with our last minute vouchers and they then gave us annual ticket receipts. We then had to go through the turnstiles and to annual passholders office to the right of this. We had to fill in an annual pass form and they took photos and issued annual passes. When we left the building, although they had full staff on doing passes, the queue was out the door (and this was on a day it was really raining hard). I would advise anyone using this deal to get to the park for about 9.30am or you will be stuck in queues, getting the passes at weekends. The park was really quite empty due to the bad weather, so we got everything done very quickly, with hardly any queues. I would head for the new laser shooting ride first (as it had an hours wait when we were leaving), then the driving and boating schools and the adventure land roller coaster-as these were the busiest.

Just heard back from Legoland, apparently it's fine to take a passport photo of the child along, if you can't them there in person on the specified day. I suppose it woudl mean wastin ga day (or however long you had) of the pass but never mind eh?
