The buyer is still insisting he pays by cash and has stated he has paid over £1000 in total and never had any problems. In light of the fantastic advice given on here I have agreed. One weird thing he sent me a message this morning stating he will post on Monday and then gave me a tracking number. I thought you only received a tracking number once posted??

He might well have a batch of the old style orange recorded or silver special slips at home. Not necessarily I keep a stash of recorded & special delivery stickers at home and always stick them to my item before visiting the post office as its saves time and the post clerk doesnt have to do it, by doing it this way you wil already have the tracking number on the sheet at home!0 -

I have a roll of RD and SD stickers and enter them into Paypal when bagging goods up to go so it's quite common.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
