    Feb MF efforts so far:
    • Free work lunches or home made.
    • Laptop sale (positive feedback on ebay so transfered money from paypal).
    • Huge effort on Zapper/Music Magpie... awaiting confirmation and cheques.
    • 1 day working from home (£12 fuel saving).
    • Gas/Elec supplier switch completed dd difference £11 per month.
    • Over 10 weeks since last hair cut... I used to be an every 6 week kinda girl... the next cut will be value for money!
    Ongoing MF efforts:
    • Carboot sale - two boxes but still not a full car load.
    • Gym Membership - keeps me entertained 3-5 hours a week and according the geeky spreadsheet I've made my money back and £52 up compared to pay-as-you-go, still 3 months left on annual membership.
    • Still no clothes or shoes purchases
    • Mystery shopping/auditing - I'm being offered more than I have time for!
    MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.

    :T for February efforts

Can you work from home more often as that's a lot of fuel to be saved/day. Think the temptation for me would to not work if I was at home

 I get my hair cut once a year, though last year I did have it cut twice. Must make an appointment soon
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
    ISA challenge start 2019 £3000/£1500 (50%)
  • Hi All and Radish72 (you seem to be the main reader of my terrible thread dribble - poor you! but it is appreciated!)

Top marks on the annual hair cuts Radish - unfortunately mine is short so more regular cuts are needed. I can't cope with long girly hair, pretty as it looks on other women!

Working from home is not always practical. I have a team of people to manage and a lot of hands on work... very little is lone computer work but when that does stack up I can get more done at home than at work. Also, my fixed term contract will be ending later this year and I'm using that as a good opportunity to find work closer to home (but I get the impression bosses will try to keep me longer here and I enjoy it too!).

I did some ebay listings this weekend (making the most of the free insertion fees) and one mystery shop.

Need to update my signature as slight priority changes on the money front for the next few months!

    MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.
  • Music magpie and zapper cheques finally arrived.
Ebay all payments in and all parcels dispatched.
    No spend weekend.
Two mystery shops (thankfully both no spends!)

    Huh?

Well, it's pay day tomorrow for me (thanks to all the braggers on MSE posting they've already had their Feb pay!) so I've creamed off anything left and finally got my 0% credit card balance below £1500 and updated my signature accoringly!

Also looks as though there's about £50 left in the joint current account that can go into the overpayment savings account.

All in all a good month and continued progress (slow but steady!).
