I have a stationery cupboard and stationery drawers (as in storage containers full of pens not knickers that never move :rotfl:)
There is no such thing as too much stationery.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
I am £3.70 over budget and a whole lot more than £3.70 worth of hacked off. I've mucked up the grocery challenge by a force greater than me making me spend £7 on suasages and onions that I DIDN'T WANT.
To explain, my birthday is tomorrow and we'd planned to have a nice treat to celebrate. Father was invited round but he doesn't want the steak we have in, no it absolutely has to be sausages and mash because he likes that. My birthday and I have to cook fekking sausages and fekking mashed potatoes otherwise he won't come.
Sorry its a rant but I do everybody elses favourites for them, including him for birthday, Father's day etc etc but my dad, demanded, sodding bl00dy sausages.
Oh and you may have gathered I'm not a huge fan of sausages in the first place. OH did suggest other options to him he knows I like but no had to be SAUSAGES and MASH :eek::eek::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. S'pose I could use them like candles. Sausage Cake, yum!!
I now need chocolate. There's a bag of Thorntons which Small Boy got for his father in the fridge. Father keeps changing times on him and he's not had a chance to give him yet. Pointed out they are probably going to go off in about the next hour and we've all committed to not wasting food.:DHe threatened to break my fingers which is not loving.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Those chocolates would never have lasted this long in this house that's for sure:p.
Hi KJ, I think your option 2 choice is what I would have gone for too. Well done you. You have a lot going on so you should do what you enjoy doing and sod the money.
Could you just cook sausages for him and the rest of you have what you were planning on to begin with? It is your birthday after all. Whatever happens enjoy your day!:bdaycake:
As for stationery I have a tallboy with two large drawers full of stationery, a desk with 3 drawers full and a sideboard with 2 drawers full. That doesn't include the 25 reams of paper stored upstairs.:eek:The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.
