    Thanks for letting us know. It's not something we are seeing at MSE Towers or at home for me. Could you please let us know some connection details such as:

    ISP
    Connection type/speed
    Location in the UK (rough)
    Browser (IE/Firefox/Chrome etc)
    Specific time it happened
    Any other details such as particular boards, particular tasks you are trying to achieve etc.

    Me too, same message as fermi. I wonder if it just affects those of us on Firefox.

    Specific time it happened - mostly after 8pm


    I thought it was just my crappy AOL wireless....

    ISP .........................................................Orange
    Connection type/speed ..............................up to 8mb :rolleyes:
    Location in the UK (rough) ..........................West Yorks
    Browser (IE/Firefox/Chrome etc) ....................IE7
    Specific time it happened .............................Last couple of hours
    Boards .....................................................Cutting Tax / Banking / Pensions
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !

    Specific time it happened: From early this afternoon until 30s ago.
    Any other details such as particular boards, particular tasks you are trying to achieve etc.: Loading pages on any board.

    I just got it trying to open this thread the first time round. Oh, the irony.

    Ping and traceroute are fine. I got a physical 'connection refused' which may suggest too many people hammering too few servers... time for an upgrade Martin !

    Specific time it happened - Quite a few times over the last half hour

    I've been trying to access various boards and it keeps saying unable to connect. If I refresh it's ok though :)

    I'm glad I saw this......I've been virus checking , router checking, you name it.......yep same error for me....keep having to refresh, after trying to change pages

    Good luck....if it was down it would probably be an easy fix........intermittantly, you've got a potential nightmare
