Hi there :hello:
I got one, and i must say its beauiful , I really think its a great competitor of the Iphone.
The Android Operating system is really fast and there are a number of apps available free of teh market. I would recommend it.
However , the only downside is because it syncs alot with your email and what not it could eat your internet usage (500mb on voda). But there is a great way around it
Simply edit the web settings , Simply add a few random letters on the APN and than it can not connect to the internet , hense not using any usage. And when you want it back , simply delete the random letters and your connected again.
Sorry , it sounds complicated but as soon as you see the settings on the phone you'll understand what i mean. Or you ould download an app called "APNDROID" off teh market which is free and does exactly the same job
If you need any more info , feel free to PM me or post back

ererrmm i only really use the phone for calls and texts, i like the maps eg nokia maps and the GPS thing although on my current phone its pretty crap and takes ages to connect.
also i like my buttons im not sure if im gonna like a touch screen, do they let you try it out in a any voda stores0 -
Don't know much about phones myself but OH got one last week and sent it back as it didn't do bluetooth data transfer and couldn't forward on text messages received. If you don't use/want these facilites then it was a great phone.
Went into vodafone shop to decide which one he wanted instead and they were really helpful and gave him a demo of a couple of different phones.
Went for the Nokia N96 in the end.0 -

Got the Magic - excellent phone. It doesn't do bluetooth data transfer but you certainly can forward text messages as I have done it myself.
Also it is possible to turn off data syncing to save battery and data usage.
Loads of apps available, good call quality, very sensitive touchscreen. I recommend it.No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
i saw this in the vodaphone shop ther other day and its only available in white color ?
how mad is that0 -

I just noticed it doesn't have bluetooth data transfer , So stupid......
Google say its because they couldn't develop it yet due to the fact they ran out of time......
Does anyone know if teh android will receive an update so bluetooth transfer is enabled???? I am great , yes I am

My aunt got this last week. When she placed her sim card in the phone, it would only dial landlines and my mobile number but she couldnt call any other mobile numbers, turns out it was a fauly handset. Her replacements been ok so far, think she finding the transition from buttons to touch screen rather difficult. lol0
