sorry folks had to send this to you, blame my brother.

    Subject: Murder At Tescos

this for all the people who shop at Tesco's...
    So, here's the story. . .

Tired of constantly being broke & stuck in an unhappy marriage, a young
husband decided to solve both problems by taking out a large insurance
policy on his wife with himself as the beneficiary, and then arranging
    to have her killed.

A 'friend of a friend' put him in touch with a nefarious dark-side
underworld figure who went by the name of 'Artie.'

Artie then explained to the husband that his going price for snuffing out
    a spouse was £5,000.

The husband said he was willing to pay that amount, but that he wouldn't
have any cash on hand until he could collect his wife's insurance money.

Artie insisted on being paid at least something up front, so the man
opened his wallet, displaying the single £1 Coin that rested inside.
Artie sighed, rolled his eyes, & reluctantly agreed to accept the £1 as
down payment for the dirty deed.

A few days later, Artie followed the man's wife to the local Tesco Super
Store. There, he surprised her in the produce department & proceeded to
strangle her with his gloved hands & as the poor unsuspecting woman drew
her last breath & slumped to the floor........

The manager of the produce department stumbled unexpectedly onto the
murder scene. Unwilling to leave any living witnesses behind, ol' Artie
had no choice but to strangle the produce manager as well.

However, unknown to Artie, the entire proceedings were captured by the
hidden security cameras & observed by the store's security guard, who
immediately called the police. Artie was caught & arrested before he
    could even leave the store.

Under intense questioning at the police station, Artie revealed the whole
sordid plan, including his unusual financial arrangements with the
hapless husband who was also quickly arrested.

The next day in the newspaper, the headline declared ...
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

On my Asda trip today I managed to find the finish Quantum tablets at £2 in offer. Got 5 and my finish moc would not scan. (this is the 3rd time this has happened), despite getting a really gud sa (and its hard to find one of these in asda). Supervisor came over and after careful observation said it was for the bigger packs and if I bought the smaller ones I'd be getting them free (thats the whole point I thought - duh).as for the bigger packs - it was just made up on the spot - no-where does it claim on the coupon I had to buy a big pack, think it was for illustration purposes only.......anyone else had probs with finish mocs scanning in Asda? Having said that some of them dont scan in Tesco either. But lovely sa just puts them thru manually. Oh, this is so annoying as I totally rely on these at the mo as being the greatest value ones coz all the others are 20p/50p/30p etc.........btw my printer is fine - its a new one about 5 months old now (HP officejet pro)................??? walked out w/out any d.w tabs (

there is also a coupon on page 52 of the Glossy magazine.
My son in law phoned me and said his local T did not accept the £5 coupon... upon hearing this I got on the phone to the store (230 miles away from me) and spoke to a CS guy. Told him that it was a national policy to take the Waitrose etc. coupon and after he said please wait while I check...he came back and said "yes it should have been accepted" told me to come back to the store with receipt and coupon. Persivere folks IT IS NATIONAL POLICY for T. My son inlaw was delighted that the old mum in law dont take prisoners when coupons are not accepted:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    What do we all think;

On a £50 spend will they take the £5 on £50 and the £5 on £30 from the newspapers in one go?

Can any of you barcode proficient peeps tell me if the 'wrap' coupon will scan when I buy the product? I read ages of posts back that 2 peeps had tried to use and it wouldn't scan or work when the barcode was typed in ...it's not a '99' it begins with a '5' , does that mean you have to buy the product?..I'm going out later and intend to buy it and would very much like to have the 60p off...TIA
