Not sure I agree entirely with you VC, but I think trying to split the shopping into 2 may have exacerbated the situation.I know some peeps do say they are allowed to do this but I know it would def be frowned upon at my local Tesco...If you were to draw it to the managers attention , and I do agree bad manners by SA's is not called for and should be reported,I would stress the embarassment of the situation for both you and the male cashier rather than the fact that you were splitting your shopping...
To be perfectly honest with you, by the time I replied, in a rush, before going out, I'd forgotten about the splitting, by M'sM, and was focussed on the bad service, and bullying, but didn't think informing HO, would be a good idea.
    Re-reading it, I don't think I'd entirely agree with myself either!:rotfl:

I got the same so filled in details to send an email to them explaining what happened. Let's see if I hear anything. I think this is a few years old as I remember printing out a coupon for this quite a while ago.

  • We went back to the Asda today that refused our finish coupons during the week and didn't have a problem today :T:T:T

On our travels round the store looking for huggies boxes which were none existent :mad::mad: we found an offer on Irn Bru. They had 6 packs on offer at a £1 a tray put they had 50% free so you actually got 9 cans for £1 instead of nearly £2.50 for 6.:j:j:D:D

Then on the way out with our trolley full of finish and irn bru we noticed 5 kilo nets of onions on offer at a £1 a net so we got a couple of those aswell lol!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Vouchers or no vouchers I'd rather pay cheap prices like that lol!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mad was outta town today. Cut a long story short I came across a Waity's. Now bearing in mind the last time I'd entered any of there stores was when I was in London 7/8 years back. When I went in I could smell the grub from the cafe. Too early for Mad so I declined. Saw some Finish on offer 2 for £6. Checked wallet.... MOC's present. Thought I'd try me luck with three £2 ones. Went to a very pleasant SA. Didn't blink an eye when I passed me MOC's over. Got third off me beer too .
Was asked if I wanted a token thing for the charity box. Said yea, went to CS (didn't know what to do with it). Two young girls explained the procedure. They weren't condescendig (aka T's). Really enjoyed me shop for the first time in ages! However, got some more towels from T's tonight ;)

    Thanks for the link claire.

Has anyone come across the £10 coupon book from Mccain yet? It's valid May June and July. Selling on ebay already ( surprise surprise!) Doesn't seem to be anything on the Mccain site

I am actually searching on here for info on these - I have one that came through the letter box about a week ago with a load of free junk mail!

Used 2 tonight one for chips and one for sweet potato - bought the McCain chips and not the sweet potato (bought Tesco own) but both went through ok.

Just wondered if they went through without buying the item as they are for a third off rather than a fixed amount IYSWIM
