I've just come back from Mr T's. Bought 8 finish dishwasher cleaners, 2 boxes x 72 weetabix (£3.00 each usually £5.12) veg for Sunday, 3 papers

Total £32.98 used 16 Finish coupons (buy product able to use two coupons)

    I paid 93p :T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::j

Well done Jill, you benefitted from their incompetance. I believe the rule means that you should have been able to use 9, 1 for each product and I extra, but hey, we all suffer from their lack of knowledge, its nice when we benefit from it.

Asda refused to take my 75p off coupon for Comfort Concentrated Fabric Conditioner today. The assistant said "we don't take internet coupons now".

If u hv paid for the conditioner, take it back the next time. & buy again using the coupon.

Yep, should have been 9 of the Finish coupons (always just one more than the number you purchase). Plus any other single coupons of course.

Personally I am not sure it's a very good idea to use shedloads of the Finish coupon at a Tesco or Waitrose store in one day; we really need to protect the generous coupon policies there don't we?

If they start getting £2 notes refused in their hundreds (which they will I expect) it can and will affect the coupon policy in at least some of the stores that get them bouncing back.

I also think Sainsburys and Asda will get their fingers burnt with Finish coupons being refused as well. That should be an interesting one though, because at least in those stores they can probably prove the items have been purchased (but against the coupon t&cs). On the moc it says 'cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount/promotion'.

Finish really made a mistake with that PDF and I have no doubt they will try to minimise the cost by wriggling out of some of the highest coupon claims by particular stores, sooner or later.

Good points as usual CM...I'm trying to work out if Asda is different though , as £2 is the price on a Rollback...they advertise that they keep rolling back prices, it does not say on the shelf edge .."should be £??.?? " and no info of when this price would change..., just states it is £2...whereas Sainsburys actually said 'half -price' £1.80 and now it is back to £3.60..
I have only used 2 coupons at the same time, once, in Tesco, when getting the cleaner at £2.70 but when I saw the it was on offer in Sainsburys at £2.40 I got several of them from there whilst getting the tablets, and it didn't cost me any extra as the cashier scanned them it at the full £2...the very first time they were entered as " number of mocs x £1.80..subsequent visits were all scanned seperately at £2.

Bullshot, I don't know for sure really but would guess 'rollback' is another term for a promotion (as per the coupon t&cs)?

If I was going to go & buy Finish items to use lots of Finish mocs, I would definitely head to Asda or Sainsburys (or any other store except Tesco & Waitrose...).;) There's nothing for the couponing customer to lose by using them in other stores.

Strange no-one has reported Asda or Sainsbugs refusing the coupons because the item is on promotion...selective reading of the t&cs by those stores I think (they are as bad as Tesco!).

I checked in tesco in wrexham that I could use the £5 morrisons coupon and got told no as there isn't a morrisons within 10 miles.
I then asked at tesco in broughton who said "I don't know if we take them you'll just have to see if it scans"

    Hello all

For the Cauldron 30 P pdf...I just inverted the colors in paint and then copied the Cauldron picture and the barcode on to the inverted colors image and it looks neat and hopefully scans fine too.

Dunno if the money saving 'Stalwarts' would approve of this but I have done it. Didnt wanna waste a lot of Black ink. Just an idea... like it, take it. Otherwise 'Stalwarts' would pounce again anyways.

Have a nice weekend all of you!

Would Finish know how much the store sold them for? surely they will have sold 1000 packs that month and submit say 800 coupons would the sale price come into it?

I also noticed the T&C's say no cashback given if the value of the product is less than the value of the coupon so they knew they would be used on cheap items/rollbacks.

My final thought is that this will hit Finish two fold they obviously have to cover the cost of the thousands of free packs, but also they now have alot of customers who now do not need to purchase any finish tablets for 10yrs+;)
