    Oh pixie1 big :grouphug: sweetie

Watching the pennies is hard but combined with a very strict diet like yours, it must be near impossible!

You are doing so well, it's just the diet and the cold weather that are bringing you down. Must you be following this very strict diet? There are other diet plans out there that will work given a chance but don't make you feel as deprived as the liquid only diet.

We all need a treat every now and then. Don't be too hard on yourself, you don't deserve it.

Chin up, it's a bad day but it will get better.

    Big big hugs Pixie,
You've put a smile on my face a few times with your posts on here. I read that you've just bought the new Jack Johnson CD with your voucher - well put it on loud and sing along. I'm no good when it comes to singing but it does make me smile (maybe it's due to the fact that I can't sing :rotfl: ).

Sending big HUGS your way Pixie,
i know just how you are feeling right now, only just had my lightbulb moment but have been depressed for the longest time about my financial situation, on top of that i am struggling with my weight as i tend to eat when down, not good for the pounds, the weight is going up as is my spending. Lack of money and the fact i feel awful about myself have meant that i have spent alot of this year in doors, again, not helping myself. But i have decided, like yourself and many on here to finally tackle both at the same time.

So keep positive, hard i know, but you are doing the right thing, and there seem to be lots of people on here who are supportive, so don't be disheartened, when you feel really low come on here and say hello i am sure that will help.

Also please feel free to pm me.

Stay with it Pixie...you can get through this. Try and look ahead (see where I get my name from now eh? ;) )...this is not forever hunny.

I am concerned about your liquid only diet though - unless it has been prescribed? Can you shed some light on that for us..?

Personally I'd say rethink the diet. Rather than going for an extreme diet, I'd suggest a simpler approach. Set yourself simple rules like not eating unless you're hungary, no snacking, cut back intake by a few percent and go doing exercise to fill your time. Walking or cycling is a good start, or find some dance or team games, anything that takes up time and involves physical activity. It'll also increase your endorphin levels and will help make debt seem like a smaller problem.

I agree with Tom re: endorphin levels. They are the 'feel good' chemicals released when you exercise and they are brilliant! Even running/marching up and down on the spot if you can't get out will help this...or put the stereo on and dance! It does work. Things will feel better.

But let us know if you have to be on a liquid diet for a reason - don't want to rush you with lots of diet advice if you have to be on liquids.

    ((hugs))

Oh Pixie, I know just how you feel! It is strange how debt and dieting go hand in hand for so many of us, as amosworks said. It sounds as though you are taking on a hell of a lot and you're bound to have down days sometimes. Just do something small like go for a walk, dance to music, everyone has given such good suggestions. Remind yourself that tomorrow is a new day and you can make a fresh start. It is hard but you absolutely can do it, we all know you can.

Many (((hugs))), thinking of you :)

Hey Pixie - keep your chin up. I too am on a diet. I started slimming world the day after my lightbulb moment (I think it must have been lightening!!) I have about 6 stone to lose, so I have more than most. But if anything it has made me more determined. I lost 7lbs the first week and am hoping for 4lbs on Monday when I go. I know its tough - but I decided I would do both as once, I did meal planning for 7 days, ordered food with tesco direct (using voucher codes), and incorrporated budgeting and healthy eating all at once. I knew it would be tough, but its kinda empowering too!! I now hope to be in control off the size of both my bank balance and my backside. You can do it - think of how great you will feel when you look hot and are DEBT FREE!!!!

    Good luck xx

Make sure you eat properly too!

everyones thinking of you & we all know you can do this so don't give up the fight!
