Interestingly, I have just checked on the Global test Market website and a LOT of people are getting their accounts suddenly closed and not being paid . BEWARE if you are not yet one of them. Also watch One Poll since they amalgamated, now there are hardly any surveys and you never get through (screened out) so what money you have is locked in. Survey companies are becoming real salve labour now - if anyone knows of ANY authoritative body that oversees them please post details as these companies think they are untouchable,

How did you see this on the GlobalTestMarket website?! Is there a forum there? How are people posting if they've had their accounts closed?

GTM recently closed panels in other countries, including Ireland, so anyone who deleted the 2 or 3 emails they sent beforehand, advising of the closure date, would probably be annoyed at the 'sudden' closure of their account.

Onepoll hasn't slowed down for me, or the others I know who do it (no-one has mentioned it) and I've gone up £2 in the last 2 days alone there.

Surveys have always been slave labour really :rotfl: then again I make £1000s a year from them so I don't mind so much.

You can contact the Market Research Society, they may be able to help with any complaints you have. https://www.mrs.org.uk/

What I would say is never assume that any money with any company is your own to spend until it has arrived.

As far as i'm aware you need to redeem a minimum of 1000 points and as the £25.00 paypal option is 906 points it won't allow the redemption. You will need to get to 1087 points and then you can redeem for £30.00 Paypal.
  • Hi Thanks for the reply,

I've got 1086 market points now,so I just need another point to get £30?

GTM have a Facebook page and a lot of people have started to post there within a GTM posting as it is the only way for anyone to do so as you cannot post directly on the site.
You are obviously one of the lucky ones to get One Poll sending so many surveys, they must only have people of certain criteria and age.

It says it takes up to 5-10 business days for the money to go through to Paypal, does it usually take this long or can it go in earlier or even after the 10 days?

At the moment it's just saying Pending Approval?

GMT has slowed down on me so much so that my last redemption was in April. I used to login everyday/every other day to answer surveys and I know this also has an impact as places fill quickly. However given the rude customer support, high threshold to redeem etc. I will probably take my answers somewhere else after I reach threshout.
