  • Cynical:)

AlthoughI thought the same when I had just below the cashout threshold.

I have in the past two months noticed a significant decline in the points given/not qualifying with this site
  • Not cynical :)

I've been doing surveys for Global Test Market for some years and they used to be one of the better ones and paid up quite well. During the last year, however, I've noticed a big decline in points for surveys and a huge increase of prize draw surveys and more points based surveys when you aren't near the threashold than when you are.

As for the prize draws I've only ever won one with Surveys.com and they notified me and I did eventually (took some months) receive the cheque. I think the companies are supposed to notify you but you must respond to their email within a short period of time.

Things certainly change though. A decade ago, when all these survey sites were just starting out I did have the fortune to win an Xbox from the ID Factory for a survey. I thought the email was a joke - spam or phishing even in those days! - but responded to the email and received my Xbox within 7 days of winning it! :j Ah, those were the days...... :D
  • Well I have been lucky enough to win £100 of Amazon vouchers with an edigital prize draw survey two years running, last year and the year before, plus I won an iPod nano with a consumerchoices draw. I have won a £5 voucher from Lightspeed but that was many years ago. I agree that Global Test Market is taking longer and longer to reach the cash out point!

I'm getting extremely frustrated with Toluna. Earned a pretty high number of points which I wanted to redeem for Amazon points to use in the Jnauary sales. I asked for a redemption of points on Boxing day and still have not received anything. There is a note on their blog on 17 Jan stating that they had a high demand, but their business model seems to be inflexible and inefficient. Communications with their Customer Services (online) results in a "we know we're late - hang in there", but no planned date for the vouchers to be sent.

Other sites (Valued Opinions, for instance) yield virtually immediate electronic voucher numbers for Amazon - why should Toluna be any different?

It's very annoying. I'd been a Ciao panel member for a while before and, while they were slow to build up a useful return, they did pay out quite promptly. Toluna seems to be a whole different approach.

Anyone else had similar difficulties, or know of a solution?

There is a general delay with Toluna presently, I'm waiting on some vouchers from early November.

My guess is that they have some sort of cash flow problems with the companies they run surveys for not paying up as quickly as they like.

has anyone else had problems with consumer pulse? I've received an email saying I've been taken off the site for geographical reasons, so frustrating as I'm out of work and this really helps me.

Gosh that's worrying! I've been with Consumer Pulse from the beginning and never had a problem with them at all - in fact they've been one of the best. It seems a very odd reason without further explanation doesn't it? Are you going to query it? If so, good luck. I can really appreciate how frustrating this must be for you.

I have had the same email and the same reason! I have been with them from the beginning. Account says closed and points now zero.
Can't access my account to find out how much they owe me!!!!!! must be at least £100 at last count. Tried ringing them , no answer and no reply to emails. Email sent Wednesday and phone calls (3) today (Friday).
Me thinks they have gone bust or in difficulties!!!!!
