Has anyone heard of Nielsen? There was a link to it o the Toluna site.
I had a look and it says you register and they send you a hand held scanner, which you use to scan your shopping with when you get home from the shops. Apparently the info is then sent to them weekly free of charge and you get points for doing this.
Anyone joined or know anything about it?
    Thanks!
Hi lisap, I have a friend who has been doing this for Neilsen for years and she has no complaints. I'm not sure where she is on the points front but she won a PSP handheld gaming thingy about a year ago and she was very pleased about it. She tells me that it is no hardship using the scanner and quick and easy to do. I have several times tried to register with them for this, however, each time doing a fairly lengthy suvey only to be told at the end that they have enough people already in my area and to try again another time! Surely they know that as soon as you put your post code in? Hey Ho! Anyway it seems as far as my friend is concerned that it is definitely worth a try.

Am with Lightspeed and a few others. One of Lightspeeds surveys malfunctioned and got stuck on my profile. I cant get rid of it and i'm not getting any other surveys because of it. I have complained twice and each time i have got a standard email in reply telling me to contact them again if any problems - just showing that they dont read the emails you send. I'll be removing my account due to their disinterest.
Hi nansenst, you should still be getting surveys if you are eligible with Lightspeed even if you have one that you haven't completed or there has been a malfunction - it will clear off eventually - I've had one stuck on there for a few months wanting me to download their software onto my computer ... no chance! I can have several survey invitations from them at any one time not completed, they seem to send them in batches, yet still more come through.

I have noticed that they are not working the same as usual and reducing their rewards but I think I read some months ago that it is merged with another organisation and that could be affecting what is going on just now maybe? Still it doesn't and shouldn't excuse not receiving proper responses to communications.

Hi, i have been a member of lightspeed for some time and only been doing some of the surveys i got, but i have gained £13 so far from them. I like them because they pay £1 at a time into paypal which suites me.

I was wondering if there is a list anywhere of the sites that do pay with paypal because i really dont want to build up for ages and then wait a while for a check and vouchers dont suite me. Thanks
Total payment recieved from GPT etc as June: £0.00

If anyone want to join Lightspeed, Toluna, Valued opinions etc, please always check some of the cash back sites out there. Most of them are on cashback sites such as Fatcheese, topcashback, getpoundsback and casbackkings. If you register via cashback sites then you'll get a bit extra on top of what you get for doing surveys!
If i had known then what I know now! :)

    Hi everyone

Fairly new to this site, but thought I'd join in the fun. I've been doing surveys for a few months now and have earned the following

Ipsos Access Panels 01/04/2009 1625 points
    Ciao Surveys 27/03/2009 £29.74
Global Opinion Panels 01/08/2009 250 points
Global Test Market 22/05/2009 505 points
    Lightspeed 26/02/2009 3335 points
    MySurvey TNS 03/04/2009 1340
    Netverdix 01/08/2009 $2
    Newvista 01/03/2009 0
    Onepoll 01/05/2009 £6
    Panelbase 27/03/2009 £9.50
    Pureprofile 28/05/2009 £14.60
    Springboard 10/08/2009 £1.00
    Surveyhead 02/06/2009 £32.67
    That's what I think 25/06/2009 1700 points
    Toluna 27/03/2009 94,491 points
    Valued Opinions 03/03/2009 £28.75

Question is, has anyone ever earned any points with Newvista? Been registered with them for ages, and not had a single point.

Hiya, you may want to watch Surveyhead as the online reviews aren't good:

Different sites work for different people. Personally, I only do the good value for time surveys on surveyhead, and earned enough to cash out a few weeks ago, and just recently received £16 into my paypal account. Yes it's frustrating not getting qualified for some, but some survey sites are like that.
