Don't worry, I was perfectly friendly to the secretary - hence her confusion I think!
Very very interesting though....I have spoken to Parent Partnership (meeting Thursday morning, so have to take tomorrow off work...annoying but at least we are getting somewhere). They just happened to mention that the exclusions team are 'going to talk to the head about what is and isn't acceptable when it comes to exclusions...'

I've just got back from uni and I'm grabbing some lunch in a min and then writing a Dooyoo review. Then I'll try to get started on the Employability essay I have due in next week, as I can't do any more on Sikhism until this evening when I can see the journal article my tutor recommended.
I've obviously been working on the essays too much lately, I just tried to press Ctrl + S to save my post!

sounds good to me....
but if he didn't like you before,he's gonna really dislike you afterwards!
y'know what i can't get over....
ryan is down as unauthorised absense today, and the secretary calls you to see where he is.... is the head aware of unauthorised absentees... surely that being the case he would have said "i'll make that call, it's a delicate situation"
The head sounds like he likes to dodge difficult situations!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

You'd think, wouldn't you!
He really is a coward, I've thought so all along. I don't mind how much he dislikes me, as long as he's aware that if even for a second his dislike of me colours his treatment of Ryan, I will make him regret it.
Jinky - lets hope so - although I think at this stage they will be just ringing to get his side of the story.
Even if nothing happens, and we can't get the exclusion retracted, if he thinks twice before excluding children in future, it will have been worth it. But I'm secretly hoping for a bit more positive outcome than that."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I just want to say that it's great what you're doing for Ryan. Maybe they could've maybe the couldn't have, but sometimes I wish my parents had fought a little harder for me when I was at school. I don't know what they could've done to make the bullying stop, since it really was nearly the whole school, but I wish I'd at least seen them trying a bit more.
