    Morning everyone :hello:

Another busy day of paperwork here. Was up early again so have managed to get the kitchen tidied, beds made, floor washed and washing on the line before I took the girls to school.
Have made packed lunch of ploughman's to take to the office for OH and me.
Just need to walk the dog and then I'm off. Tea will be cold meat salad as the sun is splitting the skies again. :j

    Morning everyone!

How are you all? It's another glorious day here :)

Unfortunately, one of my colleague's father passed away at the weekend and the funeral is today, so we're going to that later on.

Tea tonight is going to be salad and something and I'm going to change our bed seeing as the good weather looks as though it's going to hold for tomorrow as well.

Enjoy the day and hugs to all that need them x

    Morning all,

    Churchie, have a fabulous time!
bitsy, I think sleep deprivation is one of the worst things about parenthood. Our middle child didn't sleep a whole night through for two years. Now he's in his teens, he could sleep for Ireland!
Essex girl, I'm glad yesterday went as well as it could.
SunnyGirl, I hope your dd has a lovely birthday.
sistercas, fingers crossed for you dd today. I'm sure her hard work will pay off.
tired mum, I hope your ear infection clears up soon.

I'm dead slow and stop this morning. I had quite a late night last night at work and it always takes me a while to wind down when I get home so I didn't get to bed until after 1.00am. It's another lovely day, a bit blustery but lots of sunshine, so I have a load of washing on the line and hope to spend some time in the garden. The house needs a bit of a tidy too but I think I'll just give it a lick and a promise because the rest of the week is forecast to be bad weather so I'll have plenty of time to do it then. The grass has finally dried out a bit so I must get it cut before the rain begins again.

Salmon fillets for tea tonight...I've been trying to think what to make with them and plumped for leeks in a cheese sauce with baked potatoes. I think I'll make the leeks now so I'll only have to reheat them at tea time.

    Have a good day everyone.

Salopman - I will pm later about little bear, the felt tip pen and the end results.

Betheebee - do you have thirtysix hours in your day? How do you fit it all in?

Sunnygirl - happy birthday to your daughter. The cake sounds lovely.

Hillstep - I always get bugged if my nails get too long, but I bet yours look fantastic. I love the look of lovely, elegant nails.

First lot of washing in. Almost no washing left (I am sure I shall find some while the drying weather is so good). Today is an ironing day, little bear permitting. If I ironed non stop all day I still think that there would be ironing left over :o

Evil cat is not yet resigned to eye drops.

Weighing up my options. Today we went and got toasted teacakes from the local sandwich shop. Now it is 70p and okayish. But it is a chance to go for a little walk with little bear and today because I am having to rest so often (breathing is not working well) it is about as far as I can get. I am working on the principle that it is 70p for a teacake and a little walk and a chat with little bear as we walk and a chat with an adult. Bargain. Of course the egg custard tart and the bit of quiche for lunch will be a bit more difficult to justify :o But just a teacake for little bear seems to make a lot of sense.

Meanmarie - those kittens sound adorable. I remember the 'joy' of coming home and finding that the cat had found my wool. These days evil cat will just look wi213t333111111113 (last contribution from little bear  ) with resigned disgust at wool then go to sleep. Mostly.

    Hugs to all.

Salopman - edited to add, last night little bear made a spirited attempt to pull the large, heavy, completely non flat screen tv on top of him when Ceebeebies went off the air. I think I broke the land speed record trying to get to him. Have a brilliant holiday!
Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!
